Author's Response: Thanks angel - yeah, I'm a big fan of Feehan's early work (note; not later work - it became too sappy and cheesy). I love the concept of the blood exchange and the desperate need for each other. Hope I keep you with me for the whole story.

Lovely way to start my day! During the last chapter I was so worried Edward was going to do something stupid like try to take her away or force her to drink. I was so glad when he chose to leave instead. This chapter was achingly beautiful. Very happy for the uplifiting ending.

You can truly feel the pain, the exquisite torture that Edward and Bella are suffering. Why is she fighting so hard against it? Emmett and Jasper made me laugh...especially Emmett! How is she Bella able to fight her pull to Edward? Really interesting story! Reading on!

That was an outstanding chapter. The furious way Edward struggled to get to Bella, and then found her......unbelievable. So enjoyable!! These two clearly feel something beyond words for one another, but Bella is fighting it! Why? Reading on!
