You write supremely well. Everything of yours I have read has been enjoyable, even those stories which go in a different direction from that which I prefer. I hope you can return to The Night Before. I know there are many others out there who feel the same way. It is disappointing to become invested in a story and then wonder if it will ever be finished. Wow, it is so rare to find a story where Maria is actually nice. I must say that I really liked this version of her and Jasper's relationship, it was touching and I enjoyed it.

I cannot believe you made me LIKE Maria. This is a feat of wonder, m'dear.

Lovely story. I appreciated her caring for her people, for Jasper, and for being willing to go out of her way for him.

This is truly not something I would have expected, but I really, really like it.
