I like this story but i think that Holly should be more hesitant to the fact tht she doesn't know these people. It'd make it more believable.

I've decided I want to be a foster child in Edward and Bella's house. Fabulous job on this chapter. The banter, the emotions, the scattering of conversation, the picnic, all of it so very very well done. My favorite comment was Emmett saying "let's eat I'm starved". Too funny. My favorite moment though has to be either Bella offering Megan accessories or Bella's conversation with Joshua.
Eager for the next chapter!

I am loving this story. I'm glad you gave Bella and Edward the challenge that is Megan. There are so many older children in the foster care system that need good homes too.

I hope they can keep her for a while. I wonder if they will find a way to help her and Josh...maybe some fake scholarships or awards or something. I have a feeling even after she's out of their care they'll watch over and support Meg...maybe letters or something. I really am invested in these new characters...great job.
Author's Response: I always find it difficult to introduce new characters 'cause most people are opposed to them right away, simply because they aren't canon so thank you!

It almost begs for a happily ever after... do you know what I mean? It isn't unheard of for Edward and Bella to take on Megan even after her mother is deemed safe.
I'm also not surprised Megan gravitated towards Rosalie... or was that Rosaline. :-)
I think there is going to be some pain before the happily ever after... so hopefully you won't draw the pain out before the easy solution is put in place. Trust me... I didn't forgot about the Cullens not aging, but people can look exactly the same from twenty-one to thirty, easily.
This is a unique tale, and this was a feel good chapter. Just like Megan, who had a good day... the readers smiled at the goodness as well.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent! And to think, this all started with Bella in a mental clinic in Seattle, right? It did if I'm not getting my stories mixed up - for this is a sequel to that other tale.
Author's Response: I know exactly what you mean! No, it's not - but it's just not possible. I know people can look similar between ages but that was never the intention and I do think there would be too many complications with a more long-term position.
Thank you! I wanted to mix up the drama, the angst with something a bit more light-hearted.

This chapter was really nice. It gave me some warm fuzzies. Yes, I'm quite atached to Megan, and I wish she could stay with Edward and Bella, but I guess that won't be possible, besides, they being vampires kinda poses a problem right?!

They all seem to be pretty attached to eachother. It was sweet that Josh was looking out for Megan wanting her to stay with Edward and Bella.
Awesome story :) can't wait for the next chapter...Even with the feeling of dread that I have of something bad coming.

I suppose Mr. Scott was making an attempt at being diplomatic, but it I get so irritated at people assuming things because of that foster child label. "Oh, she doesn't have any nice things because she's a foster child." "Well, you know why he behaves that way... he's a foster child." Grr. You handled this incident really well.

Squeee!!! I am loving how this is playing out but for Edwards sake I think they should get custody of a little boy while Meg lives there..It would give her someone to look out for a boy for Edward to be a more active role in the story and justa balance! Either way I love it and look forward to more!
Author's Response: Thank you! I wanted them to as well - but one of my readers offered some advice and she told me that it is very rare that they mix sex and age in non-sibling foster children so Megan's not going to be having a new foster-brother although I did love the idea very much!

I think Bella and in turn, you, are amazing parents. Always objective, seeing things from all angles and reasonable. Wow. It's going to be a tear jerker when Megan leaves!

I'v been following this story since the beginning, and I find it very moving and also it has got a deep meaning. I'm not familiar with this topic, but I feel for Megan, and for the little girl too. Thank you for writing it in a serious way. My previous review was too short, so I thought to expand it a bit, since you've been very kind to reply to it.
Author's Response: Thank you - I always try to reply to reviews whenever I can. Sometimes, it's really difficult but if somebody took the time to review then I like to at least thank them for the extra time they gave up for me and this story.
I'll be honest, I'm not familar with it either - in the sense that I haven't any had first hand experience with these situations! But I am interested in the subject and hopefully it represents real life as accurately as possible.
Thanks for this extra review - it really put a smile on my face :)
