I love this story, and was glad to hear things have settled down for you.
Let me just say Wow! This went way past angst...it was so emotionally powerful. I could feel every tear Bella shed and all the myriad of emotions that flashed through Emmett when his brain realized what she said. How heartrending.....
But I have to say, even though he is hurt, that parting was handled with pure class and grace by Emmett. But will he be able to move past it if she chooses her family? Really move past it?
I guess we shall see.........I can't wait.

My internet connection is at epic fail proportions lately so I'll try to be quick and remember what I wrote the first time round.
Oh my God! I can't believe Bella went to confront that man, I take it that he's James. She nearly lost everything and everyone nearly lost her.
He said that Victoria was his sub, would it be normal for a sub to have two doms, I've not heard of that before? Or was is simply that they saw an opportunity to blackmail Edward for something and it all back fired on them? Will Bella tell Edward? She needs to tell someone, 'cause I get the feeling he won't be going away anytime soon. What's Emmett up to, did he try to contact Bella? Ooooh this is all so intriguing.
I'm loving Edward in this story, I hope we see more of him, lol?
