Hmmm, so Emmett hasn't been having an affair, but he has been very distant with Bella, so what has been going on? Is it a case of just lack of communication and different sexual appetites?
Bella's goodbye to Edward was so sad and the way he just quietly left whilst she was still talking. I feel for Edward and I'd love to know what he's feeling and thinking about all of this.
I can't believe that Bella told Emmett after finding out he's not been having an affair. Personally, I would have kept my mouth shut, if it was truly over with the other person, lol. Even when she was speaking with Emmett about wanting to put things right she didn't really believe it herself. I think in her heart of hearts she realises that no matter what she thinks is the right thing to do, for everyone to be happy she needs to call it a day with Emmett and finish their marriage. After her experiences with Edward she's never going to be truly happy with Emmett and that will begin to show given time.
