This was a nice little read. Not something I'll fav, but I did enjoy it. I particularily like the way you flipped the traditional Bella/Edward role, with her being financially secure and experienced and him just starting out and timid.

I got this idea to flip as many details as possible and it worked out nicely ;) I hope you'll check out my other stories, especially my current WIP Let It Be Me is one I'm very proud of.

3 weeks early is nothing! My 2nd child was born 13 1/2 weeks early weighing a mere 1 lb 13 oz. THAT was scary!
Does this mean we are nearing the end & Bella gets her HEA?
Author's Response: Thanks for the review :) I planned to let the baby be born a bit earlier than 3 weeks but I don't have enough knowledge about births and what can happen, so I let that go. I did research but it was quite complicated and I was worried I'd screw it up ;) This was the last chapter honey! I think being engaged and having a baby is HEA, isn't it? 38+18 is 56....i don't know where you got the "18 year age differnce from" theyre age difference is 12 years....
Author's Response: Hi, thanks for reading & commenting! The difference between Jake and Bella is 18 years, because he's 55 and she's 37. If the difference was 12 years, Jake would be 49. I went through the chapter quickly to make sure (it's a while ago that I wrote it ;)) and it says toward the end that Jake is turning 56 soon.

I gotta say I was a bit surprised by the familes' reactions. Maybe I'm old fashioned. I remember when my then 31 year old sister announced she was pregnant with her boyfriend's child & my parents did NOT say they were proud.
It was nice to see Jake & Edward play nice.
I know all about being on bedrest while pregnant. I had complications early on with my 2nd child & eventually ended up hospitalized & having her 13 1/2 weeks early. No fun seeing your 1lb 13oz baby hooked up to everything under the sun just to keep her alive.
