Wow.  You didn't fail...it must've been the sleep-deprived brain.  It was angsty, and my heart is aching with hurt and need for resolution and redemption for Edward, but you wrote Jacob SO perfectly...and the way you expressed all he'd been through with Bella and Brady and the pack.  Just.  Wow.

It was an INCREDIBLY difficult chapter to read, but well-written in the extreme.  I'm so glad you started writing it again.  I'd missed it. I definitely know what you mean about writing to enjoy it...and not just to get the story out there.  But, whatever the reason, THANK YOU FOR WRITING.

I can't wait for more...

I thought Jake's POV was necessary for where this story is, and I think he said a lot of things that needed to be said and that Edward needed to hear.  He has a long way to go towards understanding the real effects of his actions.  But what disturbs me overall is Jacob's observation of how broken Bella is.  It almost sounds as if you're not intending for Edward and Bella to be together, that she's worse off with him in her life again.  I don't believe that she is, and I hope that they are able to find a way to be together.  Great update--I can't wait to hear what Bella has to say now that she's awake.

thank you for the new chapter!! i really really loved your story and i feel bad that you've fallen out of love with this story.. i dont know what to say to somehow inspire you again. but i know its not only me that loves your story. im sure there are tons others. your story is really heartbraking and heartwarming and i really want to see it finish to the end. and i love this jacob POV. i think edward deserves everything jacob inflicted on him. he was stupid for leaving bella. i hope it wont be an easy thing for edward to win bella back. but ofcourse i still want them to be together in the end. i just didnt want it to be a stroll in the park.

Wow - I liked it!

Having to remember that Jake in this story grew out of New Moon Jake who was sweet and sunshine to Bella not the more cocky obnoxious Jake from Eclipse - he just loved Bella and wanted to heal her and it is easy to see why he would be so angry at the Cullens - especially Edward.  Add to that the Brady thing and I thought you did an amazing job showing Jacobs state of mind.

I think it is good also that Edward gets a first hand view of what he did when he left.  It is one thing to hear it from Bella - and a whole other thing to see it through Jacobs memory.  How can Edward make up for it?  Now that he sees the extent of the damage he did - I am not sure he can.  If he really loves her though he will have to get over his self loathing and really find out what Bella wants and needs.  His assumtions that he knew what was best for her were what got him into this situation in the first place.  I think we will have to see Edward not just be sorry, but have some real growth.  That is a hard thing for a Vampire - to change - but to be with Bella I think it will have to happen.

Nice job - thanks for updating.

I really liked this. I think that Jacob needed to tell his story and Edward needed to hear it. I really hope that you find it in you to continue.

I love you! Coming from a complete stranger, that must be terrifying. But of course, you've already heard that many times from people reading this story, haven't you? Its a lot to ask, but update soon? I'll be happy if it's within the next two months. (:

I'm not a bit Jacob/Bella fan, but it is always refreshing to get the story from his pov. Hope your chapters come frequently, this is a great story.

I think it is perfect!  Regardless of my personal opinions of Jake, he is a breath of fresh air(or doggy scent), brings a laugh and definitely moves the story. Maybe allowing Edward a much needed cathartic release from guilt? eventually? without us wallowing in it as well?  Anyhow, I think it's brilliant.  thank you for having the cahones to continue without letting it crush you!

I think it's a very well written chapter.  You definitely captured the essence of Jacob (in my opinion).  Good job!

I don't like Jacob. But he made some valid points. Dont get frustrated, I love this story:)

I think this is a great chapter -- someone needed to tell Edward off and knock him off his self-righteous pedestal.  I love Jake when he is being Bella's best friend.

I like this chapter, but I want more Bella talking! Great job - how long until another post?

That was amazing!!!!  I Jake has been beaten up alot in Fanfic and I officially LOVE him again.  EVERYTHING I always wanted Edward to hear you have laid on him in this story.  I was laughing at one point (the Buffy line was hilarious) and ready to cry at the next.  I'm so glad you came back to this story, Trust your creative instincts, it's been an awesome ride so far-looking forward to more.

Loved it!! Jake was able to have his say in what Edward did to Bella. Cannot wait to see what happens when he talks to Bella!! Great job!

I loved this chapter!  Finally, someone really tells off Edward.  the character development for Jake was good, especially when he admits how responsible he feels for Brady's condition.  Can't wait to see where you are going to take this.

Good! Love it! I kinda like Jake in this one, but thats probably going to pass xD, Its most likely cause Edward was being a Jerko.

Thrilled for the update. I am sure you hear this quite often, but this story is what got me hooked on fanfic. I can't recall how I found it on your journal, but I did. Very happy to see it continue.

I can't believe I am saying this, but I enjoyed Jake's perspective in this chapter much more than any Jake POV in Canon. Probably because your Jake has grown, he is sharing his own guilt and turmoil without twisting it to make Bella feel guilty (well, she is unconcious) AND he seems to be trying his hardest to elicit a response from Edward for all the years of Bella's pain and agony that he can understand. Similar to the snowstorm confrontation, Edward's justification for causing all this pain seems feeble.

Hopefully Bella and Jake will eventually realize that blaming the Brady situation on Edward is a bit unfounded. It will be interesting to see how you deal with this. And even more interesting to see if Edward can grow enough to put his angst and selfishness behind him. The scene with Esme at the hospital was quite telling.

Can Edward redeem himself? Will Bella revert to Canon after all these years and forgive him? Only Rialle knows...hehe.

Many many thanks for the chapter update. I will keep my fingers crossed that more will be forthcoming in the not too distant future.

JA

Don't be so hard on yourself, I actually enjoyed it. Jake usually annoys the hell out of me but this rant was powerful. So much emotion, Edward must be suicidal. Looking forward to the next post. Thanks for not keeping us waiting.
