ohh I think it is a good idea for Bella to take it a little slow but the chemistry is so strong between the two of them. Don't know if that is going to work out. Hmm. Love your last chapter. You keep it slow burning but with promises for the future. Their love for each other is undeniable. Keep up the great work!! :)

I hope something wonderful works out for little Sam's living arrangements. I'm not sure if I want her to go home with Edward, but she seems to be winning everyone over, so it'd be nice to keep her in the family.

Ah, delicious torture!

Perfect as always. Carlie meeting Samantha was adorable. I love the teasing Bella does to Edward. Can't wait for the next update!

I can understand why Carlie would resent Samantha wanting to go home with Edward.  Edward was her father and she was just getting to know him herself.  But to see how badly she was treated by her stepdad when her mom just left her, she just included her with the rest of her family.  Even telling her because already have a Samantha would be called Sam 1 and Sam 2.  Took the time to visit with her in her room before seeing her dad, Edward. Leah worried about Bella not getting enough rest and maybe moving too fast with Edward.  She knows about following your heart and told Bella that's why she never committed to any of the other guys she dated over the years.  Bella teasing Edward.  Bella doesn't want Edward to leave hospital because he will return to his parents' home for additional recovery and she'll have to return to her home.  She won't be close to him.  She'll miss him.  Carlie is amazed about the depth of feelings her mom has for her dad.  Carlie has to talk with Dad Jake to determine how to refer to each dad.  I think Daddy Jake and Daddy Edward might work for a while.  Or one is Dad and the other can be Daddy.  Or even like she told Samantha she can call them Daddy #1 and Daddy #2.  Will be interesting to see what she and Jake come up with.  Also when Bella gets another check up regarding her eyes if she'll be yelled at for not getting enough rest herself and not following proper steps per post op instructions.

I loved it.  I see no reason why Carlie can't call both Jake and Edward dad.  I called my father inlaw dad as well as my own father.  It was always a fun time when they were in the room together and I'd say "hey dad?" and they both would ask what!  Then I'd playfully say I meant dad 1 (my dad) and dad 2 was my father inlaw.  They were both dad and they were both ok with it.

Can you do an out take on Jake and Leah's adventure?  that sounds like a great read! lol

It looks like, if Carlie has anything to say about it, that Sam will be going home with them.  But in all honesty I think Esme or Alice will be a better choice.  Especially Alice, I think she would be able to help her the most.

Great chapter! I can't wait to see what is going to happen with little Samantha and Carlie's talk with Jake. Also what other shennanigans Bella and Edward will find themselves in. Great job, can't wait for the next one!
