Jake was spot on with his assumption of Carlie.  I think she wants to see if her dad can make it up to Bella for all the things he did.  Jake is so funny, he's such a good friend to Bella.  I would love to hear Leah's thoughts on Jake and Bella's relationship...

Carlisle has some serious balls. I have a feeling Bella is about to remove them.

I know Bella deserves to be angry and believe me she does!  But her and Edward were young when this all happened and now she is acting like a spoiled brat and instead of trying to make this easier on Carlie she is going after Demetri who you know damn well she is only doing this to keep Edward away or better yet kind of like a "screw you"!  The fact that she won't even listen to the Cullens side of the story right now about what happened 15 years ago is making her even worse than them because she know exactly how it feels.

I love your story; BUT, I REALLY want Edward and Bella TOGETHER!!  Please put me out of my misery....SOON!  :):)

To be honest I am still on the fence about the whole E/B HEA. To me there's just so much hurt, rejection, dishonesty, miscommunication and misunderstand that it's going to take a miracle to get everyone on the same page.

I suppose for my wish is that the whole bunch of them from Cullen's, The Black's to Bella and Carlie and hell even Tanya for that matter be put in a room with some sort of metiator so this whole mess from the past can get put on the table. Perhaps if they went from A to B to C and ended up with Z but unfortunately everyone is still hurting from the past. I guess they need to have an intervention because 15 years of pain and anger isn't being dealt with. I guess I see the truth will set you free to a degree but there is still of ground to cover.

Sometimes it feels like they take two steps forward then get pushed back 3 steps.

Oh well I am here for the duration to see how Content brings all of this mess together. Even if it isn't tied up in a pretty bow.i look forward to reading how it all plays out.

One more thing I have seen a few make comments about Bella having the eye surgury. I for one do not blame her for not having it yet regardless of her money situation. I'm not blind but I do wear glasses. I would love to be able to not wear them. I have have looked into getting the laser eye surgury but I know of a few who have had it done and some are happy but a few others are not. So I guess I can see Bella holding off till the technollogy is better because yes she's blind but if it doesn't work?? Then what? I look at it as only having 2 eyes if the surgury screws up I do not believe they make new balls to replace the old ones. For me sure I could have to surgury and maybe it will work and will have no need for glasses..yea for me but what if it doesn't and well I am back to square one. I think I will pick the lesser or two evils. My 2 cents sorry.

 

Anyways can't wait to see what happens next.

Sounds like everyone is against the Demetri boyfriend plan.  They all know it's a ploy since "Edward" Cullen and the Cullens have returned into her life now.  It's to avoid direct contact with Edward.  Even Leah who hates him can tell he's a changed man.  Even with his playboying/man-whoring ways he hasn't done a real relationship since Bella.  He has never stopped loving Bella.  Now she has heard this from both her daughter and her best friend. Bella doesn't want to believe that everything Edward told Carlie was the truth.  In her mind Edward was lying to Carlie.  Why would Edward paint himself in such a negative light if he was going to lie to Carlie about himself?  Doesn't make sense, if you want to be in a better light you cut out all the bad behavior/treatment/implications of things said and done towards Bella.  Edward didn't do any fluff when he told Carlie he was straight forward and to the point.  Only Bella's heart, pride, self esteem, etc... can't believe or conceive that Edward could still have feelings for her after all these years.  She is still under the assumption that the Cullens were aware of her pregnacy with Carlie and just ignored her.  Of course, they were not ever made aware due to Tanya taking the letter and removing the evidence provided at the time.  this is all new to all of them.  Edward would encourage her to go through with the surgery in order to restore herself as much back to the norm as possible.  Regain as much of her sight as possible prior to the birth.  Bella needs to rethink her heart and feelings and if Edward is making an effort to be nice then Bella needs to attempt the same thing with Jasper.  Waiting next chapter to see how Jake approved of Demetri.

Did she not even hear Carlie tell her Edward said what he did to her was the biggest mistake of his life. Come on Bella be an adult and talk to him or at least listen to what Carlie tells you. Update soon please!

I think Bella is right to worry that this whole situation is gonna come back & bite her in the ass. 

I WAS surprised that Leah stuck up for Edward despite her hatred of him. 

I'm anxious for Bella to forgive Edward & give him a chance.I'm a very forgiving person & don't hold grudges. I forgave an old bf for standing me up for my senior prom when he contacted me 20 years later. Now we have a relationship, albeit complicated & I'm grateful to have him back in my life.

I really like this story. Great job. I want to see Edward jealous but I don't want her to sleep with Demitri. But a little Edward suffering would be a good thing.

why is it every other person involved her can see and hear how much he still loves her i think even Carlie know that its the real deal ....but that is one bull headed female  and its gonna take a ton of bricks falling on her head for her to get a clue ....this game she is playing with the new man in her life is not sitting well with anyone is it  ?

Poor Bella can't catch a break. One minute she thinks things are finally working out and the next everything is falling to shambles again. I was wondering how Carlie was going to take Demetri coming into the picture, obviously not as well as hoped. Can I say that recital is going to be crazy. 

I also loved Rose's point of view. I can see her becoming good friends with Bella and in turn Emmett getting back in her good graces easier than the other's. I can't wait to see what you have planned next.
