Weeellll....she's getting the surgery, so happy there! Can't wait for that! I also kinda appreciate the twist with having to go to Carlisle to use his doctor. I couldn't imagine not being able to actually see my children and their smiles that go along with their giggles. I am so excited for her to see her daughter.

your story contains a wonderful mix of emotions and though i want to get right to the heart of the matter only reading B/E there are so many other factors that need to be added to make the story well rounded just hoping for a HEA

I think this is a good start for Bella and Carisle. I like that he knows he can't undo what happened or that even I'm sorry is enough. But that he wants to move forward and try to build trust again. Knowing about her surgery but keeping the detales private from his family is a good place to start in building that trust!
I can't wait to hear whar Demetri has to say!

I am so glad you wrote this chapter with Bella and Carlisle getting some what of a new start. I think life soetimes is made up of a lot of baby steps. I can't wait to see how Carlisle keeps Edward in the dark. Maybe his daughter will give it up. Great story thanks for sharing.

Wow...I knew carlisle would come through somehow! i'm wondering how edward will react to his father keeping this secret from him...or maybe carlie will tell him first? and i can't wait to see how bella does w/ the surgery! the romantic in me is hoping that edward is the first person she sees! thanks for being consistent with the updates...I love looking forward to Sundays!

Nope no hate mail from me. Loved the out takes from chapters 15 to 22. It's nice to have some of the back story of SoMP. Plus we get to see some of the holes filled in.
Um just my 2 cents but I hope Aro is the one to deliver Tanya's comeuppance. I do not want Bella to have to deal with that puta.
I am glad Bella has decided to have the eye surgury even if Dr. Moreau can't because of his sick Mum. Carlisle better no screw up, Bella should call him out on his HIPAA violation by looking over her private medical info. Although I can understand Bella's need to try and mend the rotten planks in their past. She's a trouper that's for sure and has a big heart.
I like the friendlines and witty banter between Bella and Felix and Demetri. It seems that Bella has more than enough family that love her and care about her and Carlie.
Bella and the skydiving date. LOL I bet her date needed to wear Depends that day she pulled the wool over his eyes. Good for her and doing stuff and not just sitting on the side lines because she can't see. = )
Hope your feeling better and yes adding the out takes as a chapter seems to work better. Which ever way works for you is fine with me.

So close yet so far, I wonder what would have happened had she touched him??? I can't help but like Demetri, even though Edward sees him as competition. Especially since we know he's really not.
I'm surprised that Bella's musings about recovering her sight did not include a fear of what seeing Edward's beautiful face again would do to her. It has to be a little easier to keep him at arms length if she doesn't have to look upon his face and into his eyes. I think if she is able to look into his eyes and see the devastation he feels as well as the love he has for her it will definitely put them on the path to a HEA.
I'm looking forward to seeing a little of Demetri's musings now, I have a feeling he is a real sweetheart.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful story, I truly look forward to updates and get really upset if I have to put off being able to read one when I get my notices.

Well I knew you were going to drag Bella back to the Cullen's somehow but this definitely wasn't the way I invisioned it. It should definitely be interesting. I bet Edward is going to hate that Carlisle knows information about Bella's surgery that he can't say anything about. I also thought the little girl at the book signing was too cute. I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter!
