Wow! I'm near tears. I've been so anxious for Bella and Edward interaction and this far exceeded my hopes. Thank you! She keeps referring to him as Anthony. Such a cutting thing for Edward, but protective for Bella. Where will they go from here? So looking forward to more. Your writing is very emotional with this one. alot of words regarding the feeling of what something is about. I hope I said that correctly. In the end he thinks leaving her alone was the best idea. Yep buddy tell yourself that one. She needed that appology 14 years ago. Each day that went on longer was added to the pile.
Pretty words wont make that better. I am sorry is a very small offering but in the end it is all you can do.

Wow! What a great chap! As always..perfectly written. I was so shocked that it was Bella at his door and not Carley..that was such a big step for her. I hope that she decides to come clean about her surgery success to Edward, and not wait til someone else lets the cat out the bag to Edward...that would not be good..hopefully she will think about his wish to start over and try to give him a chance to be the man/father/lover he desires to be. Sobbing hysterically now....I wish B had told him about the surgery, but I understand why she didn't. This way she could really see what his heart was conveying without him feeling the need to try to "cover anything up". We were able to see what his eyes and his body language told her, so I'm kind of glad she didn't tell him. I love that she let herself get angry at the end and made him tell her that he was still in love with her. We all know she has never stopped loving him, even if she would never have admitted it to herself. I can't wait to see E's point of view.
On another note, I am terribly sorry to hear about your loss, my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Sincerely amazed. This is one of my favorite stories because of hte compleitites of events. The farther into the story we go, the less black and white everything is and the more grey we find. Also, I'm stocked that Edward finally got to have his talk with Bella. Eep!
