I'm really liking these flashbacks. Emmett's point of view was interesting. It must have been really hard for him to be a teenager living with someone like Edward and not understanding him at all. I'm glad that the family resolved it's issues in Loner. In fact, this is making me want to go back and read Loner again so I just may do that... great job, as always!

It's very interesting to hear this story from different POV's, it makes you see it in a different way. I kind of feel bad for Emmett - he's really trying, but it just goes wrong, and he doesn't know why.

Loner had me hooked & waiting avidly for each installment for at least a yr (I usually only read complete stories) & I apologise for not reviewing before. This background story is making me want to read Loner again, straight through as soon as it finishes. So I think thats exactly what I will do! Very good work. Thank you.

Will we get to read about Carlisle's POV about the changes in Edward once Bella enters their life?
Author's Response: I'm really sorry for not responding sooner, I always try to answer any questions I get, but somehow I just missed it. As for Carlisle's thoughts about Bella, that would be in the outtakes I plan to write eventually. I can't say when that will happen, because right now I'm taking a break from writing. But hopefully I'll find the inspiration I need soon. Thank you for reviewing, I'm glad you liked it.

Ok, so I'm definitely a disaster. When I first received a notification saying you have posted the first chapter I opened it, I added it to favorites but I forgot to read it. And I have just realized when I received the notification of the second chapter.
I have to say I really enjoyed this first chapter, it's interesting to know more about the family before Bella entered their lives.
Now I'm off to read the second one.

Strange that you haven't gotten a better response to this story - you had tons of reviews for "Loner". People who read that should be most interested in this - it's always interesting to see things from someone else's perspective. It's heartbreaking to read about Edward's reactions to things, but it helps knowing that there will be a happy ending.
Author's Response: I think the lack of reviews for this story could be because there's no B/E interraction. I guess most people want that, I know I do myself. *lol* Anyway, thank you very much for your review!

I'm not sure I'm up for this kind of story Nilla.....afterall we already know what Edward was put through and his struggles along the way. "Loner" was an excellent story but tough to get through many times, I don't know if I can read about a younger and more confused Edward as he fights and tries to protect himself as he attempts to assimilate into the Cullen home and his school environment. I will stick with you and your story for now, I'll try hard to give this a chance.
