I just started reading "50 Shades" so I knew that's what you were referring to. I never did read the original fan fic.
I'm guessing Bella overheard the conversation & is planning to confront Edward about it.

Oh DAMN! That was quite the cliffie. Dying to see what Bella overheard and what happens next.
Loved his conversation with Emmett, and that fact that EVERYONE seems to be reading Bella's stories. Loved that Alice is her banner-maker and that they had no idea they already knew each other. Great chapter!

Uh oh - I probably scared all the neighbors and their cats while reading this chapter. I'm still howling with laughter :-) And I'm glad to know that my intuition was right, because I thought of Emmett right away when stargazer91 was introduced. (Yeah, not too big a feat, I know, but still.)
Anyway, I think that leaves but one option for Edward - pack his stuff and move to Australia, LOL...

OOOOooo! Edward reminds me of a roast that you are cooking when you don't have a meat thermometer. Sometimes, you just have to keep stabbing it and spreading it open so you can look inside to see it is done yet. You know, quite often I have to slice it open several times before it finally makes it's way to the table. So tell me, is he done yet?
