Wow!  I didn't expect to like this alternate ending all that much (the scientist in me gets too stuck on the paradox) guessing that the alternate ending would start on the course it did (I don't want to give specifics in case someone is reading the reviews before the story).  While I still prefer the original ending (especially the second epilogue you had added - it just left me with more of a sense of closure), this alternate one was supremely well-done (not that there isn't still a mad scientist sitting on one of my shoulders screaming out all the '...but...but...!!!'s).  This one was also more satisfying to me (again, I'm avoiding specifics, but there is something that Bella and Edward become three - well, technically four - times over in this version that they never are able to do in the original, and I am admittedly partial to stories that allow it to happen - at least once).  This version also was much more of a tear-jerker (to me at least) than the other, and the closing letter was the icing on the cake!

Great job with both endings and I thank you for sharing your tale with us!

I like the original ending better but this also ties all the loose ends up nicely.  And it gives Edward and Bella a life together with all the human aspects.

Wow did I cry like a love sick fool but it was very good. I know I say it in most of my reviews but the original by SM is still the best. That being said I love the ending lines here. If there is one thing you can feel confident of after reading tons of Edward and Bella fanfiction - and believe me I have - its that they always belong together; just one of those things I guess like Romeo & Juliet or Tristan & Isolde.

I love you. I love this story. I've read A WHOLE LOT of fanfiction. Lots and lots and lots. (Pssstttt: I'm cheap, it's free, and I'm already absolutely in love with the characters). Anyway.... (kinda imagine how Ross says that on "Friends")

Your work is my absolute favorite. I admire how these stories evolve in your mind. It's unreal. I have the creativity depth of a teaspoon. I mean "See Spot Run" level. It's also so amazing how these characters have TOTALLY different personalities in your stories, yet they stay completely true to themselves.

Well, I need to stop writing. It's interferring with my "building my shrine to you" time, and that just won't do. Thanks for sharing all your stories!

I definitely agree with you...the other ending was much better suited to the flow of the story :).

But this was fantastic as well!! :) I love the way you manipulated the storyline just enough so that it would easily fit in with the original story!

Well I thought the other ending was twisted, but this one takes the cake. Good job fixing the time line. As I was reading the beginning I didn't even give that a thought but you are right, if she doesn't go back to begin with the time line will be broken and none of it can happen. The sex was hot, edward can come spank me anytime! Thanks for sharing your gift of writing,I enjoy everything you write.

This is fantastically written for something you didn't want to do! Very impressive.

Definitely a different version of the story. The whole screwing-up-the-future and the consequences can be a bit disconcerting.

But a fun what-if.

And I thought it couldn't get better...

Excellent job. This was beautiful and they'll have, in their own way, a never ending love but I'm still partial to the original ending. ;)

I loved the way the other story ended and I love this one also. I don't think I could choose. Thank you for sharing your gift of storytelling.

You are simply incredible!!! I have no idea how your mind works but it is a wonderful and brilliant place. I didn't think i could love this story any more than I already did but you once again proved me wrong. I did love the original ending but this one had me teary. The letter at the end almost did me in. They are meant to be together and either ending proves that no matter what they will find each other. Thank you so much for writting this, it really made my day!

Wow. I loved the original but I think this is just an amazing what-if. Wonderfully done.
