Great story, started reading couldn't put it down! Hope you have more for this story in mind.
Author's Response: For the time being no, but in the future who knows? I am so glad that you liked it, thank you very much.

I've now read both Parachutists stories, and I absolutely love both. They are so rich with detail and history. The characters are so much fuller and more complex than even SM's. These are just so well written. And I love the different twists in this one with the introduction of Yves. My theory for the low reviews and/or reads is the title. It doesn't grab you. But that's just too bad for them. Because this is damn good.
Author's Response: Now you have really given me food for thought. In choosing my titles I choose ones that I would select myself for reading and that are easy to remember. Many titles have generic wording that would apply to any story.
Let me give you an example; I have just seen a delightful vampire film "Dark Shadows" dircted Tim Burton. I am sure that in a short while I will have forgotten completely the title, because it is so vague, doesn't nail the story, like, for instance Interview with a vampire ...
But anyway, whatever the cause, I know I am not overly popular and I am resigned to my fate. But reviews like yours make me so happy. My latest complete story is The pilgrimage. Believe me it is good (I have prereaders that are successful authors themselves and they say so). But, since I am perv like that, I choose to tell a story that has no Edward, Bella and none of the Cullens. Not done for popularity, no. But if you just would give it a try ....

For the last couple of days I have been immersed in both of your wonderful stories. I enjoyed each of them and I hope you will add to them. Espeically ONW. I look forward to what you might have in store for both E/B but the rest of the Cullens.
Thanks for sharing your words.
= )
Author's Response: Thank you very much for reading and for telling me that you liked my stories. I don't know when I'll go back to the Parachutist, first I am immersed in another plot, very different, but still with vamps. It is not ready to be posted yet, but, when I do, I hope you'l like it too.

Excellent story, even tho there is some much left to talk about... you left me hanging.
Author's Response: Later this week my friend Raum intends to open a thread on the forums on Our New World. Shall I send you a line when it is up? Maybe it will inspire me to do outtakes. (ONW is now being posted on fanfiction net).Thank you anyway for reading and telling me what you think.

Hi
I have loved reading this story and following Bella and Edward on there journey through their new life after the war.
I am sorry to see this story come to an end but I like where you have left it.
Cant wiat to read your next story.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for telling me. I am writing The Pilgrimage... but it will take some time...

I really loved your series of the Parachutist. You are a marvel at story making. I look forward to reading your new stories. Keep up the great work!!! Congratulations on completing this series. xoxo
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I too hope you will like my next story. It is not ready to post yet, though, because I want my stories practically finished before I start. I hate it when stories have long delays between updates, or are never completed and would not do that to my readers. So you will have to be patient: I'll try not to disappoint.

I am sad to be saying good-bye to the parachutist. I have enjoyed this story (and its predecessor) very much. I especially enjoyed the strength of the main characters and their honest relationship. So many stories have characters caught up in petty relationship drama over nothing but these two have a firm grasp on what's real, what's important and how to communicate. Thanks for the enjoyable read.
Author's Response: It is maybe because of my age. Getting old sucks, but at least I know and understand adult relationships and that is what I tried to describe. Your considered review has made me very happy. Thank you.

I thoroughly enjoyed your stories. I was always excited to see an update notification in email. Thanks for sharing your talents.
Author's Response: Sharing is an essential part of my writing. I would not do it, probably, if I had no readers at all. No, I am not a closet writer and when a reader tells me that she/he liked what I have written it makes my day. Thank you.

Great, great work. I can only imagine the hours that you have spent...
Author's Response: As it is not a secret, I can confess it. I am not young. My Twilight madness came at the right time: my son had married and moved to Milan, and I was retiring from work. My husband (who is also my Beta for the Italian version of my stories) kept himself very busy with volunteer work. So I have plenty of time to devote to writing. And I love it. Thank you for telling me that you appreciated my story

Your writing is exceptional ! I am looking forward to your next story.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'll do my best (but it will take some time..)

thank you so much for your lovely stories.i enjoyed both of them very much. you have proven, again, that fanfiction can have a good enthralling story and lemons. i look forward to your next one.
Author's Response: Thank you very much. Yes, those stories that only consist of lemons can be boring, after a while. Stories must have an intresting plot too, but not fade to black when the time comes. I am glad that you liked mine.

I just wanted to give you some encouragement! Your writing is wonderful, as always. Don't let the lack of reviews get you down. Speaking for myself, I most often read on my IPhone and cannot submit reviews from it. I know this has cut down on my number of reviews given out considerably. Maybe Twilighted will get a mobile version someday?
Author's Response: The Iphone represent still a mysterious technology to me, but I can well understand that some things aren't possible with it. And I am not disturbed by the relatively few reviews. The good thing is that The Parachutist is still getting readers (on ff net, mostly) and when I start posting ONW there too, maybe people will readi it too. And my reviewers are the best, some of the things I got from them were so nice and intelligent. So I am rather happy. Thank you for writing me this time, I appreciate it a lot.

Some daunting scenarios in the future indeed! Let's hope our patriot Edward is in court standing up for wrongly accused friends and against hysteria and not the accused himself! Can't wait to read the new story! Thanks for the entertainment and good luck in the awards!
Author's Response: Who knows, I might write some more about that period ... but for the moment my medieval story owns me. Thank you so much for travelling with me and my beloved Parachutist...

Sighs...
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
I'll miss so much this story...but I'm looking forward your new project, I'm sure it will be extraordinary!
Hugs,
Raum
Author's Response: Dear Raum, thank YOU. I owe you for this story and will owe even more with my next one.

This was wonderful!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, I hope you'll also love my stories to come. Bye for now.

I loved both stories, and I really hope you write another one in the series, someday!
Author's Response: Who knows? Maybe, but I have to see if I can deal with the Volturi in a way that is not too fancyful. One of the merits of the Saga it is that is extremely realistic, vampires and shapeshifters apart. I am glad that you loved my stories, anyway, and thank you for telling me.

I only got this FF website a little while ago but I am telling you that I absolutely love your Parachutist stories. Loved them!! I can't wait for the epilogue of this one. You have done your homework for historical incidents and matched everything very well time wise. Wow I am floored. Beautiful. Keep up the great work!! :)
Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much. Yes, I do my research throughly. In the new vamp story I am drafting, happening in the Middle Age, I am doing my homework as well, down to the underwear people wore (or didn't wore) at the time ... well, if underwear has to be shed, we must know how to call it, LOL.
I will submit the epilogue today. I have only to choose the images that accompany it.
Reviewer: teacher (Signed) · Date: July 15, 2011 02:12 PM · On: Chapter 23 Song of Songs
yay! loved all the pictures.
Author's Response: Indeed, posting on Twilighted net gives a lot of satisfaction. Apart for the possibility of posting banner, blinkies and images, the summaries are longer, and therefore make more sense. And , finally, one can read the authors' answers to the reviews. I often read them, they do clarify a story.
It is for this reason that I alway start with Twilighted net and post the story on ff net only afterwards.
Thank you so much for the many reviews. Now only the epilogue remains, but I hope to read you again, when I post something new.
Ciao

just change her already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Yeah, stupid vamp. But without this hesitation Edward would not be Edward...
Reviewer: teacher (Signed) · Date: July 15, 2011 01:22 PM · On: Chapter 19 Frenzied
yeah...I would so burn her ass!
Author's Response: Well, Rosalie and Carmen were none to gentle, either...
Reviewer: teacher (Signed) · Date: July 15, 2011 01:12 PM · On: Chapter 18 Tea For One
lovely quote from your mother!
And yes, I am many little sayings that I could teach you....I am from Texas and the South invents all kinds of little funny things to say!
Author's Response: The story I am writing now is set in Italy in the Middle Age, so the expletives and the other things said in anger can't be modern. I have had my troubles with that, also because Italians, as my characters are, would be really blasphemous, calling God and his Saints names, which in English is really a no go. I have found a few things, but obviously quite tame.
Had I met you earlie,r you could have helped me to Southernize Jasper's way of speaking...Well, next time, maybe. And thanks

Can't stand the stupid hell bitch! I wouldn't piss on Tanya if she was on fire!
Author's Response: What a wonderful expression, I would not piss ... etc. I must keep it in mind and maybe use it somewhere in a future story. I am amazed by how much colloquial English I have learned since I met fan fictio ,but I have still a lot to learn.
As for Tanya, she is the usual bitch, yes, but nothing compared to ... you will see.

I like the mysterious intrigue you have placed on this chapter!
Author's Response: Well, a bad guy was needed, wasn't he?
Reviewer: teacher (Signed) · Date: July 15, 2011 08:35 AM · On: Chapter 10 Bloodlust
love the different NM aspect of her and a jasper ordeal........thanks for changing it up!
Author's Response: Obviously Bella has a talent manifesting itself even before her change. It works differently on different people. If they are inherently good, the positive aspects of their personality are enhanced, if they are evil... well, more to follow in later chapters.
Reviewer: teacher (Signed) · Date: July 15, 2011 07:44 AM · On: Chapter 7 Only in America
the ring is beautiful!
Author's Response: Better surely that the one used in the film. First of all, that was not a period piece, and, secondarily, looked very commercial, an industrial thing. This said, from Rob's hands I would accept even a dime store one, LOL.
Thank you for the review.
