Author's Response: Ah...you will find out...slowly... why they are both the way they are... they both have good reasons. Edward has revealed some of his reasons in this chapter...Bella...she is still a mystery.

Author's Response: Yeah...I'm not so sure he'd give anyone a hug right now either! Emmett is really great and loved Edward a great deal so he's always pushing him. Hope, I have fell in love...she started out small and I just adore her now! I'm glad you like the characters that is a great accomplishment for me in itself.

This story is all kinds of awesome! I have a feeling that in a few chapters time I'm going to be extremely frustrated by close calls and missed meetings between E/B but something about this story screams slow build up. I guess its the emotional detachment of the protaganists, until they meet and start really feeling again there is this languid almost dream-like quality to their interactions with others - like nothing ever quite gets through or penetrates an internal barrier between them and the world. So I'm anticipating BIG sparks and lots of tension once that barrier is torn down and emotional overload sets in...or at least thats my vision for how this story will progress - can't wait for the real thing!

Loved this. I can tell this is going to be quite a journey for Bella and Edward. The emotion in Bella and Edward is quite evident already, and I can't wait to see how this'll play out. And of course, Journey is awesome. I think I'm excited just as much for the music references in this.
