Solid... and increasingly interesting.  As soon as I read about Billy being born, I immediately wondered if there would be a Charlie Swan.  Then I saw your teaser - and I actually think there might be a Bella Swan born as well.  In other words... all this time you've been writing about your Bella Swan, she hasn't been the Bella Swan character, but in fact an ancestor of the Bella Swan we all love.  :-)  - Of course I'm speculating, and I could be all wrong... but wouldn't that be a twist?

There is a Charlie Swan, that much I will tell you. Bella will meet him at some point.

I did not bring in another "Bella" into the story, however.  I agree it'd be a great twist, but I try to keep my stories tight instead of exploratory -- it's my own personal choice. I am sure another author would probably run with the Two Bella Plotline and do a terrific job with the implications inherent. :)

I'm just not that good. lol

I have to tell u that I love ur story!

Its so different from other and the pair its complety new and it works! Levi and Bella together are so good together. Its a pity that there are so much regret form both. 

Are the Cullens going to show in ur story? is Edward going to show?

The Cullens, in canon, return to the area in 2003. That is what will happen here. As to the B/L pairing...you'll just have to see!

Aw...update soon i can't wait. though its kinda wierd seeing a werewolf/shifter marry a vampire. I mean theres that whole "they can't stand each others scent" thing. But it is a unique storyline and i hope you update soon.

It IS weird having a vampire and a werewolf together. I totally know. lol That's why I built in YEARS for them to learn about each other as people and to get over their sense-species-aversion.  As I progressed their relationship, I showed how they got used to one another's "stink" to show that it was there, yes, but so many other parts of each other were there, too.  They love each other because of the HUMANITY they have within them. So much so that the aversion of their mortal-enemy situations was overcome.  From the time they met 'til the time they married was sixteen years.  

It was fun to write!

And the story's not anywhere near over!

  Five years...  If I was in his place, I don't know if I would have resisted, with her so close...  If only a little peek, now and then.  :-}

  'So...did you see that one coming? Hm? :)'  No, I didn't.  Not that far, at least.  :)

  Just a small question.  Why couldn't they...  huh... be fully together?  I understand venom is poison only entering the bloodstream.  I mean, it's not like it didn't happen in other fanfictions.  And Meyer stated clearly in the books that Tanya and her sisters enjoyed the "company" of human males.

  Glad they are enjoying each other anyway, though!  ;)

Ah, Jasper. Well, he explains a bit of that himself...to someone...eventually. You'll see what happened later in the story. :)

Quil wasn't an Alpha, no. The reference was to Ephraim. Sorry for any confusion!

Bella became a friend to the Pack and their wives over the years, so yeah. It was cool. :) Young Quil was not among the guests, no... But he will see it through Ephraim's memory later.

The difference between Bella and Levi being together and Tanya &Co being with human men is that -- at this time -- Levi is NOT human. Venom is lethal to werewolves. If it enters their system, it can kill them, unless it's through the mouth. I am guessing the salivary glands or stomach lining or whatever protects them from ill effects, there.  (LJ's sad scientific attempt. lol) To make sure there are no accidents, then, they choose not to have any possible internal contact for him that does not originate with the mouth.  Of course, they have a LOT of fun with their more limited access.  :)

This is truly an interesting and unique tale. I like it and I am interested  as to where it is going. I really like the way you write and tell a story.

You are an excellent writer and the plotline is like none other I have ever  seen.  It is truly one of a kind! That is good, very good. I like that we get to explore a different world, away from all the stories  of human Edward and Bella as  FBI agents  or s and M masters...hehehe or the typical and  usual Edward/Bella vampire story. This is something else altogether and I really like it.

I want to see where you are going with it. I am wondering if it will eventually be a Bella/Edward story. It could be, it has that possibility built in. But wherever you take it, I am on the ride  with you!

I think this really is a unique plot and enjoyed writing the story out immensely. Huge feelings of satisfaction, let me tell ya. lol

The story is a BELLA story, really, and her relationships, but the Cullens DO return to this area in 2003, according to canon...and I've tried to keep a lot of the canon elements here. ;-)  Carlisle arrives in Chapter Fifteen: Coven. :D

Enjoying this very unique tale - enjoying the Levi/Bella angle to a degree - but also hoping for the Cullens arrival.  I did get a kick out of Jasper's appearance a few chapters back - for when he mentioned he was going to Philly, we obviously knew who he was about to meet... but won't that be something when it comes full circle.

In canon, the Cullens return to this area in 2003. That is the same timeline for this story. :)

I read this chapter in the afternoon, and it occurred to me that Bella appears to be so different from how we know her from twilight. I wanted to comment, but didn't quite know what to say.

So I just let it sink in for a few hours. And then I saw it.

Bella has been a Vampire now for over 50 years. She managed to become a vegetarian in spite of the Volturi, and she refused to give up trying to escape. She put her subbornness to good use, finding for herself a life worth living.

So of course she is much more mature than the Twilight-Bella.

But what is the same is her self-sufficiency. She doesn't necessarily need others. She is content with minimal social interaction and solitude. She makes things work for herself. But she is also kind and helpful. She selflessly runs years and years of patrols for her Quileute friends, asking nothing more than a place to stay. She is even willing to give up her relationship with Levi, because the needs of his family come first. Her own desires come second.

I am looking forward to see what the future has in store for Bella and the Quileutes.

  Bella and Young Quill at the river showed me something.  Young Quill isn't annoying, he is a plain jerk!  And a stalker, to boot.  I wouldn't mind if Bella gave him a lesson, as long as the rest of the Pack thought the same.      :-/

Felix really felt it was all part of a day at the office.  Showers to the right, deflowering virgins to the left.  It was Tuesday so it was his job. That kind of thing. Nothing personal and not a power trip or anything. Just S.O.P.

Quil IS kind of a jerk here, yes.  He's still a teenager and tends to act like one at times!
