Alice talking Bella into going out with Rose, Emmett, Jasper, and her to the bar for dancing and possible hook-ups.  Alice/Rose made Bella talk about her relationship with Riley.  Gave Garrett the bartender the idea of Bella hooking up with him was possible.  Bella should never drink, she can't control herself at all.  Of course, when Edward showed up drinking to calm her nerves increased. Especially with Edward watching her all the time.  Alice took her to the dance floor and then pointed out a table with hot men.  Turned out to be friends of Bella's from college.  She got a little handsy because of her drunken status, but also because of Edward.  A part of her wants to see him get jealous.  Make him mad, make him pay for his treatment of her, and for everything she had to give up due to the pregnancy and baby.  Not that she would give up Charlie for anything, but he has changed her life.  Edward approached Bella to talk about things.  Turns out he wants to know what happened THAT night due to an argument with Jasper.  He doesn't remember it all.  So while they were having their first calm conversation Alice and Jasper were calling for Bella.  Informing her Charlie's in the hospital.  Blind panic for the Cullen clan and Bella.  Edward offered to drive her to the hospital.  He's thinking it's Charlie dad.  He hasn't a clue.  He is observing his parents, and siblings and their partners all having a panic attack.  He can't figure it out.  Yes the Cullens like Charlie the Chief, but surprised at his mother's tears, as well as the other reactions.  I have a feeling that Edward will probably drive himself to the hospital and start putting two and two together.  Especially if he sees little Charlie in a hospital bed. Looking forward to future chapters.

Ah, for some reason my Twi'd screen is all messed up and I can't read all of your review while answering it. LOL. Let's just say that yes, there were a lot of emotions at play at the bar. Bella is confused and upset and scared and she's drinking and not thinking clearly. This will not be the last time she makes the mistake of drinking around Edward. You would think she would learn, right? But Edward himself is not entirely innocent when it comes to drinking. It's not that he doesn't remember "that" night. he doesn't know the aftermath. He doesn't know what Bella thought or felt or what he actually did to her. He didn't know about the bruises or the bleeding. This is going to be a rocky road for them. So close (yet so far away!).  Poor younger Charlie...hope he's okay.  is it wrong I kind of feel bad for Edward?  i mean he was pretty much a jerk to Bella, but for Bella not to tell him or his fmaily fro four years about Charlie, that seems wrong. 

Anyway, I liked this chapter and can't wait to read the next one!

It's not wrong to feel bad for either of them. My goal is to show that neither one of them is entirely at fault. They have both made big mistakes and trust me when I say that they will continue to make big mistakes. This is going to be a long and bumpy ride.

Ok i get that she doesn't want edward to find out before she's ready, but that was really fucking unfair!! charlie is his kid too, even if he doesn't know. keeping him away from the hospital when she doesn't know how bad charlie is is just stupid. what if he were to die? or need a transplant or something? (of course i know that you wouldn't do that to him) but seriously, just rip the band-aid off already!

LOL. I know, it's not fair. He does deserve to know. Unfortunately Bella's just not thinking properly. This is going to be a very, very rocky road for this entire family. 

The chapter is just getting some last minute tweaks before going to my Twi'd beta. She's good with her turn around time so hopefully next chapter will be up soon.
