Unbelievable! What a jerk. I hope she makes him work HARD on getting on her good graces. I can't believe he said those things about money. She never intended for him to know about that boy. And of course he blames her for getting knocked up! Unbelievable!

i just got through these first through chapters and I love your story. Edward's reaction was totally realistic and incredibly well written. I can't wait for future updates

well it may be long but its life, your trying to write something real not a fairy tale so i think its amazing keep the good work

Edward showing up asking Jake questions about Charlie was very interesting.  Glad Jake didn't give him any new answers.  Still made even more questions for him.  I can't blame Bella for wanting to run.  Just having the feeling that Edward would react the same way about his son as he did with having sex with a virgin.  Getting angry and irrational.  Which is exactly what he did.  Especially after the evidence was presented to him.  The proof that the boy was his by age and phyiscal traits.  What did Edward do but blow up, yell, accuse Bella of being a golddigger, trying to pin it on him, make fool of him and his family, use them, and try to make herself feel better about her whorish ways (his words).  Of course all he did was make her cry and feel horrible.  Made his family angry.  He didn't want to acknowledge any more guilt of what occurred that night at the party with Bella.  It's ironic because he's been talking about Bella like she is his and he's been talking about accepting her even with a child.  Now since he finds out the child is his, rejection and denial is his first offense/defense.  Then he runs to get drunk and wakes in someone else's bed unaware of how he got there, what he had done, whether he used a condom, etc...  Glad his mom called him out on his behavior.  Shocked him mom knew so much about his whoring ways.  He does owe Bella a huge apology for his behavior for the party as well as for the night before.  Charlie is his son.  He was conceived essentially in violence in Edward's bed before he left for college.  Edward needs to seriously grow up and acknowledge reality and take responsibility for all of his actions and their repercussions.

OK i took a breath, but seriously ... how immature can you get scrath that, i've lived it i know, even the men who have acheived great prfessional success can run off when they get a girl pregnant. I feel really bad for Bella, and i be she is wish she had never gone back to Forks after college.

I just love the "unplanned perfection" phrase.  I am not a mother yet, but I can't stand people that tell their kids they were "mistakes".  I think "unplanned perfection" is just the most wonderful way to put it.
