I know I'm probably the only one but I am still team Jacob in this little senerio.  When she thought "I was never romantically involved with another guy while I was away.  I thought I had made my feelings clear!"  First of all how would Jake know she wasn't romantically involved with another guy...she never called him nor did she return anyones calls.  Second she did make her feelings clear, she told Jake to leave, that she didn't want him anymore.  If she has the right to be angy at anyone it should be at herself.  What happened to  "I would do whatever I needed to earn back his trust -even grovel."

Then she almost kills Kelly and no one down stairs comes to help her?  But they all run to their rooms to fuck themselve silly while Ness continues to freak out and physically hurt Jake.  Notice he didn't fight back, he could never physically hurt Ness no matter what she did to him! Man I'm having a hard time liking any of these guys, they all seem very selfish.  I'm so dissapointed in Seth, he's Jakes friend, he's been inside Jakes head, he should know that what jake was doing was more to hurt himself, not Ness.  I'm sure in Jakes head it was easier to hate himself for what he was doing than hate his Ness for what she did.

And then there's Quil, he eggs Ness on telling her "This isn't the first time"  then he pretends to be all concerned about Jake later and then offers up a lame "sorry"

I agree with Jake on this point  "Seth - the little judgmental bastard - and the two queen bitches of self-centeredness had brought this on me.  They didn't give a damn about Renesmee and her wellbeing."  And after eveything is said and done even after all Ness has done to hurt him, Jake still is more concerned for her feelings then his own.

I will say this Ness's power in making Kelly forget was very cool.

My last rant (I promis)......How is it that everyone is mad at Jake but no one seems to be upset with Ness?  Why is she looking like the hurt party here?  Why is she the cool "Bad Ass" for throwing a temper tantrum and almost killing someone when she really has no reason to?  All of "this shit" she brought on herself.

Don't get me wrong, I like the story, I'm very interested in seeing how all this works out and where you take it from here!

We absoulutely love how you analyze this! We're glad you point out that they are selfish, because that exact point WILL be addressed. It's not so much that they don't see Jake's side, it's more that right now they don't really care. Selfishness is a character flaw that most of them share because besides their families and imprints they don't know how to live with one another and care for one another. As time goes on they become less selfish.

Nessie... she is irrational. Jake would never hurt her, but her blissful ideal Jake that would wait for her until she figured out her life just got crushed. And all the maturity she thought she had before she saw Jake and Kelly just went out the window. Her flaw right now is how naive she is. No matter how much she thought she was prepared to see Jake with someone else, she wasn't. She was clinging to the measly "I love you" she thought to him on his way out in WLA. 

 Now of course, Jake could never and would never raise a hand to Nessie. He loves her(but would probably never admit it right now) and would probably let her kill him if that's what she wanted to do. You're on the mark with how Kelly gave him the option of hating himself so he wouldn't hate Nessie. Or maybe I should say so that he doesn't have to admit to the ill feelings he has toward her. Jake's problem is that he lets Ness walk all over him. In Florida, he could have put his foot down and stayed. He could have stopped her raged fit, but he let it happen.

And Seth! I love Seth to pieces but no matter what when I typed he always seemed to go to bat for Nessie! He knew full well what Jacob was going through and still he thought that Nessie was more important. I guess the only way I can explain his mindset is that Jake is strong. He handled things head on (sort of). He acknowledged that she wasn't coming back and moved on (in a way). But Nessie couldn't move past it. And in much later chapters we'll find out exactly how she dealt in Florida. She was the fragile one in Seth's eyes. Though because selfishness outweighed caring for Ness, he never lifted a finger to help her either, and siding with her is how he makes up for that.

Quil is just immature. He's all about fun no matter what. There has to come a time when he's responsible, but with the group as of now, he's just the goofball immature one. He wasn't sorry for Jake. He thought it was funny.

Essentially, this is a group of very flawed individuals with so many problems that in the begining they don't mesh, or even get along very well. They may live together but they haven't really made it to the togetherness part of that. They are still thinking individually. So far, they inhabit the same house and they ALL haven't shared the same space at the same time having a light hearted conversation yet. The best way I can describe the indifference that they feel for their roommates' personal problems is like they were watching Jerry Springer. It was merely the entertainment aspect. They didn't feel one way or another for the problem because all their imprints were accounted for and not in harm's way. It will change, but we can't guarantee that it will be immediate ;)

We love that this chapter inspired you to tell us exactly what you think. I (DreaC) knew that Nessie's behavior would spark some different reactions. Writting her gave me some mixed feelings. When I was inher head I was empowered and in Jake's I felt his pain. We promised you a rollercoaster of emotions were going to happen, and it's a very long bumpy one to this story.

All the characters are really unlikeable at the moment. The only one that has my sympathy is Kelly

Jake = using Kelly

Ness = hurting  Jake

Seth/Nema/Antonia = only fetching Ness because Jake is annoying them,not because there friend is hurting

I hope you start to give them some reedeeming features so i can like them again

Thanks for reading and reviewing! We know the characters are less than ideal at the moment. Jake is definitely using Kelly, and Ness definitely hurting Jake. Though Seth/Nema should be ashamed! Seth especially since he claims to love Ness so much! Now Antonia has never met her before and really couldn't care about her feelings. I can assure you that they do get better, and this matter of the trip to Jacksonvill for "nessie's benefit" will come back to bite them in the asses soon as well. 

All I can say is, its going to be a mess when she gets back! Ness is gonna get hurt, Jake will get even more hurt and there will be a lot of tears. I am not so sure they will make it thru this. even though they are imprints

Lord I feel so bad for Jake. I feel bad for Kelly too. I would think better of the situation if he were picking up random chicks. Kelly doesn't deserve to get hurt. I'm a little out off by Seth giving Jake the stink eye. He knows that Ness broke Jake heart when she told him to leave that she didn't want him. You would think that he would be more understnding. Jake was his friend first and it seems like he's siding with Ness. Toni is a hoot!

I think it's going to be a roller coaster of a ride when Ness get's back!

Well if not I can tell the whiplash is painful making you feel like you got into a car accident with a Semi and you are in a Mini. That is exactly what this roller coaster ride will be like.  We are glad that you enjoy reading Toni. Though with Seth, he kinda sides with Ness because in a way she was his first love before he imprinted on Nema and throughout WLA they grew much closer. He cares deeply for her. In the next chapter this is explained a bit more.

He just wants to erase the pain, and drinking and women seem to get the job done temporarily. Now on to Nessie, BSean and I agree! She is a mixed up little bitch! Great having you two writing together!!!! Love the chapter! I don't blame Antonia, she ha trust issues mind reader or not, she was hurt and really just a little kid when Nema ran off so I can cut her some slack. But her conversion to the Cullen life style is going to be interesting particularly when Rose and Emmett are not on board, Rose isn't exactly a diplomat.

The pack issues I don't care as much about but have to admit I like your Leah, she can be a bitch but she seems to have her priorities in order and understands her role.

Thanks so much for reviewing! I called and woke BSean up as soon as I saw that we had a review! The relationship between Rose and Antonia doesn't really progress. She, true to character dislikes Antonia because of her involvement with the Volturi and her attitude toward humans doesnt change, plus Toni's attitude toward Nema doesnt help.

There are undertones of the pack issues yet they aren't directly addressed often. Mostly the story is about the imprinting relationships between the wolves and their mates.
