Go Bella! I always love when she gets feisty - especially around the vamps, who could break her in a heartbeat, but she feels confident enough to stand up to them. I agree with Carlisle - I'm impressed that Edward kept his mouth shut.
Author's Response: Ha...yes Edward keeping his mouth shut was the smart thing to do. Proabably pretty hard for him to not just jump in there and protect her though.
She knows that none of them would ever hurt her physically but Emmett was doing a number on her emotionally so she let him have it. No one knew that she had that in her but now they are certainly aware and will be alert!

I felt myself yelling at Emmett as Bella was, great writing and I'm dying to see what when Edward gets back for the family chat. This should be interesting.

OOOOO, I love me some Feisty Bella! I know she cried and all, but she stood up to Emmett - BRAVO! I love that Jasper walked out because he knew he was out of his league, so funny! MORE MORE!! :)
Author's Response: She can't help the tears because she is just so mad. I get like that, when I get so mad I just can't control it. It was about time she stood up to everyone so hopefully everyone will back off of her for a while.

IntimidatingBella, BadAssBella, I love this Bella!! She got so upset she made a room full of vampires be silent and still, all being afraid for her wrath!? She was such a kickass in this chapter. I can't wait to hear them all talk about her and everything on the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you! I didn't intend for this chapter to take this direction but she got other ideas when I sat down to write. They really don't know what to make of her in this chapter, they are so used to her being quiet and meek. Hopefully they take note and realize that she is a force to be reckoned with.

Your Bella is really fierce with Emmett. That is so totally in canon, and I love to read when writers pick up and expand on that. Plus, I love me the giant, misguided teddy bear.
My favorite line was, “Oh, so he only wants to talk does he? Does he only want to know how it feels when you touch me, when you kiss me, when you…”
I just melted reading that for some reason. I love it because it is such a layered statement, and I could clearly see the multitude of emotions contained within it. Well done there! :D
Author's Response: Thanks. I always try to finish things up before I head out so that I am not thinking about it the whole time that I am gone.
I think that despite his size Emmett is the only one besides Alice that Bella would really feel comfortable doing something like that with. They have that kind of relationship. His heart is in the right place even if his head isn't.
I liked that line too, she is just at the end of her rope and just wants this to end. He is tainting something that is beautful and new and she resents him for it. She doesn't see what he really wants and could care less what he wants anymore.

That was a really good and intense chapter.
I was really surprised that Bella flipped her shit on Emmett though. He deserved it...but the way you were describing it made me feel so sad for him. He was right to be worried about Bella...I think Bella needs to get them to tone it down a little. She IS human. She does need to sleep. Edward's just been getting a little bit...too enthusiastic?

Author's Response: They are both a bit over enthusiastic that is definate. Emmett is worried and just hasn't gone about showing it the best way though. She is just pushed to her limit after having to deal with that dinner and sees Emmett as the reasoning behind all of the stress she is experiencing. Well I really dont know what to say...
Em was just wondering if she was okay...I mean unlike him I will admit, but he is a very cuddly person so maybe not so far off. To think he is worried about the whole tree thing. To be honest I kinda wondered myself. But as usual you pulled it off and pulled it off well. :P
