Awww!  That was adorable and perfect.  I was afraid Edward was going to fuck it up, but he did the right thing.  I don't think there was a better way for him to approach things.

I knew it, I knew it, I knew that beneath the cold callus exterior their beat a heart. Thank you, you have completely restored my faith in Carlisle, although I am a little suspicious that Esme had a little something to do with this visit to his office.
As for Edward, his clueless-ness regarding the Male/ Female language and dynamic is what makes him so amazingly endearing. Although, If i was Bella, I would feel completely infuriated.
I was so jazzed to see this story updated earlier than it usually is, it is one of the most relate able and realistic ff's out there, (who hasnt had an inappropriate email flirtation at work?)
