Great story

I don't like the idea, but I think Bella and Peter have to happen just so Edward could have a wake-up call and eventually realize that aside from work, Bella should also be one of his priorities.

 

My heart was clenching the whole time I was reading this chapter, and that's because both of you write so good! I think it was kind of mean for Edward to not even acknowledge Bella during Carlisle's visit, and I still don't buy Edward's explanation of it (I'm for Team Bella here!!!) Heheh!

 

I hope next chapter there would be a progress between B & E's relationship - and I'm hoping for this after my "Bella and Peter have to happen" spiel above?! Yeah, sometimes I confuse myself as well :/

i think him inviting her to the benefit was definately a knee jerk reaction to her accidently on purpose telling him about peter ,unfortunately he's not going to see her clearly until he's just about to lose her, friendship and all.i think bella realising that edward is abit beyond her reach at the moment and resolved to not wait around for him would of been hard decision to make but for now the right one,i like her emails she seems to get her point across extemely well ,hope he opens his eyes soon

well if he wanted to do something with her the time is now! keep the updates comming men are duches!

doh, I cannot believe Bella screwed up about Dr thing with Edward, cat is outta bag now. wait, was that indeed a screw up or intentional on her part, hmmmm??? well at least he invited her to fundraiser. Aw, poor Edward! He has no experience with any of this relationship stuff, and he can't even talk to his only friend about it! Well, there's always Jasper!

I couldn't believe how nervous Bella was with Carlisle Cullen.  Get that girl some Depends.   LOL!  Her verbal run on sentences about Carlisle and Edward were hysterical.   I loved it.   She even made them both laugh.     I knew she'd try to call Peter, but I think its just to make Edward jealous.    She needs to keep him on his toes and let him know what he is losing!   He doesn't want to lose Bella, but it seems he doesn't know yet how to keep her.   I hope he really tries hard to make her see how much he cares in the next chapter.   Keep up the great work!   We love it!

Ok, so I cried at Bella's responce email to Edward. I HATE the clueless, unconversational B&E. EPOV from here was so confusing ... but then again they werent really talking to eachother, they were talking at eachother based on their own thoughts. i wonder what Bella was thinking and i can totally see Edward backing out of the benefit date thing. If you had come to me right now and told me about these two people you know there were playing this dance. i would say, he needs to move on, it's obvious he will never take more than firendship from her because he TOO commited to his 'j.o.b.' and she needs a man who is willing to show his interest in her publicly, which she seems to have found. She needs to tell him, friendship is no longer an option and that she works for his company. period!!! They need to go theri seperate ways.

However we ALL know this is B&E and they belong together, even though they are complete bone heads about it, Scratch that. HE! is!!!!

So tell Mr. Masen to get his head out of his ass and tell bella how he feels!! end of story. Or bella could go a pair and let him know she wants more ... that might actually open things up a bit. either way. they need to talk 'to' eachother more and not 'at' each other.
