I get giddy when I see this story updated! I'm so glad Bella left Edward at the party and made up her mind that she was sick of coming in second to his job. And man is Carlisle a jerk or what? Maybe Esme can kick his ass....Edward is too chickenshit right now to stand up to him, but he did redeem himself somewhat by coming to Bella's apartment at the end.
I love Bella's pajamas, where can I get me some of those? ;-)

Edward is really clueless when it comes to friend- or relationships. Wonder if Jasper gave him some pointers. That kiss was overdue, I'm so glad he came after Bella to apologize. Carlisle doesn't seem to bemuch better. Even if he likes his life as a workaholic he has no right to impose his lifestyle on Edward or anyone else. Time for Edward to put his foot down and not be available 24/7 for business even if it's his time off. Good move to interest Esme in Bella's culinary skills, though.

Sorry I didn't review before now, but I was reading offline. This story is great! I love the snarky banter and the development of their relationship. And oh, the end of this chapter just had my heart pounding and such anticipation! Can't wait for the next chapter!

Well my dears I was ready to give Edward hell for the little stunt he pulled at dinner but damn if he didn't come to Bella and kiss her...
I felt so bad for her at dinner and the way he treated her. It is understandable the pressure he is under with Carlisle and all but he needs a backbone if he is going to run the company. He needs to work on that. Loved Jasper, btw.
Don't ya just love Esme? Do you suppose she sent Edward to go to Bella. You know, grovel a little bit and let her know just exactly how he feels about her?
Can't wait to see how the cooking for Esme is going to go. Will Carlisle be there? Will he still have the stick up his arse? Nah, just givin' ya a hard time, but I do look forward to the next installmen. That being said no rush. Real life should always come first.

Oh my, how are they going to solve this? It's obvious Carlisle is not the forgiving kind. But then again, if Bella quits there and starts working for Esme it should be all right. Or... ? whoa!! amazing chapter :) so Edward was distracted cos he obviously has feelings for Bella. he did good introducing Bella to Esme & getting them to exchange info so Bella can get job that will truly make her happy, plus get her away from Cullen Inc & non-frat policy. Carlisle was pissed, but I can understand. I hope that gets smoothed over, maybe with a lil help from Esme :) Jasper was too funny! but damn when Edward blew up at Bella after ignoring her, that hurt! I understand why she left, no need to hang around if your not wanted. kept hoping that Edward would come to her, then was excited when he was at the door. and then he just kissed her!!??!! no turning back now. I guess she better get that job with Esme tomorrow LOL :) I look forward to hearing what happened at party after Bella left, EPOV. I also hope Edward doesn't freak out on her after kiss cos that would probably hurt worse. You guys are writing so well together, absolutely love when I see an update!!
