Bella and Edward are safety away from the reunion and back at Edward's house.  Edward in heated discussion on the phone on the first floor and Bella soaking in the upstairs large tub.  Feeling horrible about ruining the reunion for everyone especially Edward.  Edward comes upstairs and joins her in the tub.  Telling Bella he's proud of her telling James off and standing up for herself.  Only bad thing was that Emmett was arrested along with James.  Can't blame Bella for not being upset about not being informed of restraint order being revoked.  James should never have been released from his assault charges. Do wonder what Charlie's reaction will be to the occurrances of the reunion and after.  What could Kate possibly need that she needs to call Edward at 1 am in the middle of the night?  to call him repeatedly.  just to interrupt him or to have him come over to lure him into an inappropriate environment and atmosphere?

James is such a creep.  Saying all those horrible things.  Why would Lauren take him back after pressing charges and having testimony in court against him.  That's a lot of steps completed to get rid of him.  Then why bring him to a high school reunion.  Just to have him torment Bella (Izzy).  Doesn't make sense.  Then to have James say all those things and humiliate Bella in front of everyone in the gym.  Everyone Lauren and Bella went to high school with and grew up with in town.  Especially in a town the size of Forks the happenings will be spread throughout town by morning.  To accuse her of not being able to keep the child alive and being a bad mother.  What a lot of horse sh-t. Belittling Edward at the same time.  Wanting the men to lose control to strike at him.  So he has a way to get back at them in order to get back at Bella for testifying against him.  He has some quirky plan going on.  Lauren is afraid of him too.  Wonder what he did to her to have her agree to bring him with her as her escort.  Edward lifting him off the floor surprised James and scared him.  He thought only Emmett a threat.  Edward capable of defending himself and Bella.  Couldn't take James insulting and degrading his lady love.  I'm surprised both Edward and Emmett didn't just each take a side of James and just heave hove James right out of the door flying into the pavement with a call to the police that he struck Edward and was harassing Bella.  That would get some response. Now Bella and Edward have to leave early from the reunion just when Bella was just starting to relax and enjoy herself.  She has realized that being with Edward she has come out of her shell and had the courage to stand up to James.

Good for Bella for standing up for herself & being strong enough to do it!

Wow...so Edward is not only wonderful and sweet, but extremely protective over Bella and ready to kill James.   James is such an incredibly sick and insecure individual that he would want to go out of his way to hurt a woman.   What a psycho!   I wonder if James is going to end up dead somewhere and unfortunately the entire Cullen clan has been seen threatening him somewhere with death.    All bad things should come to an end sooner than later.   I hope Bella can now move past that snake James and have some comfort in knowing that Edward is now her savior.   Keep up the amazing writing.  We'll be waiting!

I am so glad they had that facedown but I am afraid James isn't gone for good...   Look forward to more so excited to see an update tonight its been a LONG day!!! you just made my night thanks <3

My guess is that it's James since the middle part of the story included him. :0)

Edward making going to the reunion as special as going to prom with a limo.  Surprising all their alumni with them being together as a couple.  Edward getting jealous at the guys checking Bella out.  Really cute.  Seeing Jessica and Lauren makes Bella uncomfortable.  Edward is just so sweet ready to leave at a moment's notice to make Bella feel better.  Bella backing into the punch table talk about embarrassing and drawing everyone's attention to you.  But seeing James there is like a nightmare coming true or a serious flashback from her time with him.  His abusive and crude ways towards her.  Wonder if Edward will take him on and teach him about how to treat a woman correctly.
