A very moving story, left me teary-eyed.  Thank you so much for sharing it with us.  I will miss it greatly.  Best wishes to you, and I wouldn't object if you decided to add a little extra to the story.  It is so hard to let go of the good ones.

Love the end! Glad James got what was coming to him. I also love that Bella and Edward got married. She got her happily ever after with him after everything :) Sarah was adorable too.

I can't believe that this story is over. This story was one of my favorites and I'm truly going to miss it.

I'm dying to read the lost moment now :) I also can't wait what other stories you will write in the future.

Author's Response:

Will PM you the cut scene now.  Thanks for reading along with me as I went.  :)

That was wonderful!!!! I am so glad Leah and Jake had a family!!! I was a little disappointed Bella had no children but her maybe will let me imagine my own ending with future children. I loved this ending line.

"Have you changed your mind about tomorrow?" he asked quietly.

Bella shook her head.  "No.  He didn't stick around to watch me die.  I feel no particular obligation to extend the courtesy to him." Haha was great. Can't wait to read your next story when you decide to write one!!!

Author's Response:

I rather liked that line, too.  ;)  Thanks for reading!

Excellent story - sorry it's done.  I either didn't remember or realize that James was on death row.  Yippee!!  Perfect ending for him.  Could you please send me the "last short scene of the story"?  Thank You!

Author's Response:

Thanks!  I'm sad it's over but glad it ended where it did. :)

And don't even think about skipping over the scene where Bella goes to Edward. Seriously, if you don't work that into the epilogue, I will track you down. Again, I feel like another chapter is really what's needed (even if that makes the epilogue a lot shorter), but if you insist on leaving things as they are, at least have the decency to give us that scene. I'm not above begging (or threatening, apparently).

Reviewer: Roonie (Signed) · Date: March 29, 2011 10:37 AM · On: Chapter 20

Okay, you know I love you...so I'm going to be honest. This was amazing and exciting and terrifying and SO intense. Every bit the climax that I could have hoped for from this amazing story. However, it also felt a bit rushed...specifically after the immediate danger with James was over. This is probably just my personal preference talking here, but this IS the climax of the story...the moment that everything has been slowly building up to. I just hate to see a story that has been so thoughfully and painstakingly developed end with such...abruptness. I'm kind of a hurt/comfot junkie but it feels like your skipping over all the comfort, lol.

I know you're going to include an epilogue, but that (by defition) is traditionally an addition to an already complete story...usually describing the future of the characters. It's the P.S. of the fic, so to speak. So for the ACTUAL fic to end like it does...well, that's just not the way I would have gone with it, I guess. I feel like there needs to be another chapter here before the epilogue. I'd like to see things slowed down a bit so we can really appreciate the scope of emotions you're trying to convey. To me, there is nothing worse than a story that ends too soon...especially one that I've enjoyed SO much. There was one published novel I read where I actually wondered if the author had run up against some kind of word limit at the very end and (being too lazy to go back through and thin some parts out) decided to just cut it off.

So obviously, there ARE stories out there that wrap things up...abruptly...I just kind of hate it when they do. I feel like the pacing (and detail) of a story should be consistent throughout. So when the ending is rushed, the whole thing feels out of balance to me.

I guess I'll have to wait and see what you plan on including in the epilogue, but for now? I feel a little disappointed, to be completely honest. What WAS there was spectacular, don't get me wrong. It was the stuff that I felt was skipped over...the scenes that could have been extremely powerful and heart-wrenching (Esme finding Bella, scenes with Alice, etc)...that I'm mourning here. I feel like someone needs to write a fanfiction for your fanfiction to fill in those blanks, lol.

Regardless, I am looking forward to more. I might have been hoping for a feast, but I'll settle for any breadcrumbs you toss my way...because they are just.that.good.  :-)

Author's Response:

A couple others have said the same thing - a couple used the word 'rushed' and a couple just wanted more HEA. I need to back and look at that, and since I've decided to rewrite it as a more complex original, I'll have plenty of time to get it right.  My fear was becoming one of those "starts-out-good-then-drags-on-forever" fics because they don't know when to end it.  But I may have overcompensated.  In truth I did write a scene w/ B&E in the hospital, but it didn't go with the pace/feel of the rest of the chapter so I cut it.  But I will PM it to you, so you can enjoy it.  The epilogue takes place way too far in the future to include it.

I'll also offer it in the A/N for anyone else who wanted more, like my beloved Roonie.  :)

I love your honesty, and I will take it all into consideration.  You are awesome, and I appreciate you immensely.  Check your email for a PM!

so who called the ambulance and the cops?  did i miss something here? why do i feel like you raced through to get to the end?

Author's Response:

It didn't make the final cut, but in my head, Charlie called in a favor.  Also, James' stolen car was parked nearby.  Another review felt it was rushed as well, so when I rewrite it, I definitely need to look at that.  It wasn't my intend but I may have been too lean with the storyline.  I'm glad you let me know, so I can work on it!

Reviewer: Louise Clark (Signed) · Date: March 29, 2011 07:16 AM · On: Chapter 20

Love love love the final edit! I'm so sad the story's at an end, save for the epi. :(  It's been awesome working with you as a beta. I have learned so much from you. Thank you, again, for allowing me to be a part of this.

xoxo

Bravo!

Author's Response:

I could not have delivered 100K words in 4ish months without your help.  ♥

Wow. Alright, I caught a quote for "A Perfect Murder" in this chapter. I don't know if it was intentional or not but I found it lol. The whole fight with James totally reminded me of the movie "Enough." Maybe I'm just weird like that lol. Can't wait for the epilogue even though that means the story's over :(

Author's Response:

I so dig you! I have seen and enjoyed both those movies. That quote was my favorite part of the movie - totally creepy, and it stuck with me long after the movie was over.  Obviously.  :)  I actually thought of "Enough" when writing Rosalie, way back when; I was reminded of Slim's training after she sent Gracie off with the girlfriend.

Epi ETA is about two weeks.  I need a week to perty it up and it takes about a week to post.  It's been fun; I'll be sad, too.

i didn't expect it!..but you tied it so well!...can't wait for the epilogue!

Author's Response:

A surprise, good!  I like that.  Epilogue ETA is two weeks!

Thank you!

Fantastic, but I can't wait for the epi.  Left me wanting more.  The Bella-Rosalie interaction at the end was brilliant.  Brought tears to my eyes.  Thank you for the story, but please just give me a little more of it.

Best wishes!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much.  I will; epilogue will be up in about 2 weeks, and should tie things up. :)

Reviewer: TwilightTucker (Signed) · Date: March 28, 2011 07:38 PM · On: Chapter 20

Thank you thank you thank you thank you for ending there.  I was so afraid you'd leave us stranded.  Thank you thank you thank you for giving us hope.

Author's Response:

I could never leave you guys stranded.  :)  Epilogue ETA is two weeks, hopefully that will tie up any remaining pieces.  Thanks so much for the review!
