Thank you! I didn't think anyone was still reading this, so also thank you for taking the time to leave me a note. I'm still working on re-writing it as an original, so if you feel inclined to comment on things you like / don't like as you continue on, I will be much appreciative.  Happy reading!

Bella has had an up and down hill ride with her PTSD after James.  Thinking she could deal with all those emotions, thoughts, feelings, flashbacks, terrors, dreams, etc.... and maintain a normal life on the side.  Stopping counseling when she moved to California was a mistake.  Also never taking an active role in the counseling session back home originally.  Bella constantly living in fear.  Thinking a new location would put her mind at ease and peace.  Only thing is what's inside your subconscious mind or memory of something so tragic is stored there.  It's not going anywhere but where Bella goes.  Anything can trigger a flashback, shiver of terror down the spine, shakes, vivid memory, etc... and pow you're there again.  Trying to hide what happened from everyone because of guilt of hurting them not only hurts them, but you also.  Seeing their pain and sorrow over the tragedy tears your heart in two and guilt for causing them the pain for it happening.  It's a vicious cycle of guilt/pain.  Bella is in that constant loop.  Until she starts to over medicate herself with drugs and beer to numb the pain she doesn't get help.  Then she's forced to seek help.  Counseling helped, self defense with Rosalie (Rose guessed a lot from Bella's reaction from discussion overheard Edward and Emmett), even talking generalities with Alice (Alice guessed a lot on her own), Edward guessed abuse based on some of the behavior but didn't know the boundaries.  Being a normal hot bloodied American man with a woman he loved progressing was natural, but still hard not knowing where Bella stood.  When Bella totalled wigged out he knew rape was involved.  Edward hated James Bella's ex boyfriend.  Jake and Bella were getting too comfortable and not watching the signs.  I know Bella and Edward had other things on their minds after the engagement party of Emmett and Rosalie, but having two flat tires on Bella's truck was a warning sign.  Second was when Edward's house key wouldn't unlock the door and door opened without unlocking it. Third Body on the floor in her apartment when it should have been empty (Jake out of town for the weekend.) Warning signs Danger Danger should have blaring in Bella's mind to go back to the car and dial 911.  Still wondering how the police and medics arrived since Bella didn't call on her phone.  Unless Charlie after speaking with Jake called the authorities and sent out everyone to check on his daughter.  Being in a business industrial district not a lot of evening activity around.  Poor Jake freaking out and not being able to enter the apartment to check on Bella.  Only to hear she went to the hospital.  Very surprised that when James was released that the victim wasn't informed or questioned if should be released for early parole or left for full time.  Bella matured a lot especially realizing that the ordeal she experienced in her youth would always be with her, but from it she gained additional strength, courage, compassion for others, skills in helping others through it, etc...Overcoming such traumatic events in her life and being with people who love her and accept her will allow her to accomplish wherever she wants to achieve.
