Goodness, so much angst...I am so glad you haven kept true to the situation, even if they are progressing, wounds are still open and some may take very long to heal, that is if they do. It just wouldn't do to have Bella just forgive his infidelity right away, after all it is an immense breach of trust and as relationships are built on trust, it cannot be so easy. You write the angst wonderfully, it is really quite overwhelming. I love reading the different POVs, as this is a hard situation for both characters, and seeing them get through it together is very interesting. I like the way you are bringing them together progressively, they need to get to know one another both physically and emotionally without rushing. I'll look forward to the next update. I like the way you're handling their situation. Adultery is adultery and maybe it sounds crazy to say there are degrees of it....but in a strange way I think there are. Don't get me wrong ~ I would pull my hubs' spleen out through his nose if he cheated ~ but I would be more likely to be able to get past it if it was more like what happened between Edward and Tanya. The difference in all of this, is, as you said, that Bella is young. At the ripe old age of 45 I know that there is a lot less black and white in the world and a lot more gray ~ but as a young woman, there would have been no gray at all. For Bella to be as far along as she is...well it's pretty miraculous. I'm also glad that Edward suggested that they see someone to help them because I think it's going to take that for them to truly be able to move ahead. I like where you're taking this and am really looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! There are shades of gray and this falls fully into that category, doesn't it? Bella is really hurt and it is going to take her some time to move through it, but with time and help, she will get there.
