Author's Response: Bella's parents really were caught between a rock and a hard place. No one wants to give up their child, but sometimes it's necessary. Learning how to live with that isn't a picnic either.

How old is Edward and where and when is this plot taking place?
So Edward did cheat on her I thought it was something they had before Bella, now I'm angry with him.
Author's Response: Edward is now 25. He had just turned 23 when they married and she was 15, almost 16.
He did have relations with another woman after the wedding. Be mad! Bella is!
