Who is Tori? Did you mean Angela? Because Ben wouldn't be there without here since she is Bella's friend. I liked that they got remarried. It was the best way to put the past behind them once and for all.
Author's Response: Tori was the girl that they met on the bus that was at the resort vacationing as well with her new husband. Angela is there, she just didn't get a lot of mention.

Yes,Edward still a bastard,so what if Bella was 15 y.o. when they get married,she is his wife,he can have sex with her,but instead he went to fuck Tanya for more than a year.If I was Bella,I will go out with more male friends to give Edward his own medicine.

im glad that the family is seeing tanya for who she truely is an not turning a blind eye to bellas suffering! im so sad its getting so close to the end! i wonder if any unexpected surprises will come from their honeymoon?

Well you had us worried. This went well and I wanted James to get 50years. Then serving approximately 1/3 of that he would be much older when he got out.
Tanya there are no words to describe her. She needs help as well. I think Edward needs to think about how he let alot of that happen and was a participant in it. Loosing his wife would have been all his fault.
I am a believer in being mad at the spouse that cheats not the one they cheat with. Why? Well the one they cheat with never took an oath to you! No one forces you to cheat.
Author's Response: James will serve at least 17 years because he committed a violent crime with a gun, but the laws just don't allow for much more than that on this charge. Now his drug charges . . .
Tanya does need help. The problem with her all along is that she didn't see how she did anything wrong. Her ends justified her means and her behavior to both Bella and Edward was despicable.
Bella was very angry with Edward, but in the end chose to forgive him given their circumstances. He asked for it and earned it. Tanya hasn't done either and she instigated it and spurred it on. No one forced it, but she sure encouraged him. It takes two to tango and they both knew better.

OK....long exhale. I saw the page marker getting lower and lower on the right side of the screen and kept thinking, this can't be the end,! Not now! LOL! Glad to hear there is another chapter before the epilogue. Amazing chapter. At first, it seemed as if we should have some pity for poor Tanya, but to be honest, even though she may have had feelings for Alec, needing to save him, she appears to have been wrong there too. She is just a series of misfortunate events. I just didn't like how she was speaking to Bella. She should be on her hands and knees after trying to seduce her husband. Give me a break, or maybe just give Tanya a REALLY SERIOUS break (leg...arm), but honestly, time for the entire family to be rid of a bad penny. Time for Bella and Edward to start living their lives, without all of the past drama. I wonder what it will be like for them. A real average life, lol. Can't wait! Would love a two week vacation right now with my husband, lol. Definitely jealous.
Author's Response: I would love that vacation too. Tanya never realized how much she'd hurt those around her. She was too busy justifying that the ends were worth it. It wasn't until those were pulled away that she understood what she'd done.

Tanya is a real piece of work. She simply refused to believe the Cullens were choosing Bella over her, no matter what. I hope she understands now, or else she will be showing up at their house expecting a warm welcome. She's such a thickheaded, unstable whore, I was actually starting to get a little worried that she would snap when she was presented with Alec's girlfriend and try to kill Bella or something. She is certainly not the sharpest crayon in the box, she didn't think it mattered who she testified for? Good lord.
I really liked the conversation with Zafrina. It helped me to muddle through my own feelings for Edward's reactions and how the whole Tanya trial thing went down. That was a great way to go with the story. Edward's actions in the courthouse was nice. There was a twinge of sadness I couldn't help feeling for Bella. No matter what, I think she will always have to carry that burden of hurt with her. It will get smaller with time, and she will think of it less and less, but I don't think it will ever truly go away completely. It's apparent they still have a way to go if Bella is still slightly insecure of her place in the family and how Edward will treat Tanya.
Looking back at the story, it still amazes me that Bella wanted to fight for their marriage after Tanya's bombshell to her in the beginning. No relationship of any kind to her husband, her self esteem beaten down by his neglect and lack of physical interaction, it just doesn't seem there was anything to save and nothing to build on. Edward should thank her every day for coming back to him.
Seriously, Carlisle? Get over yourself. I hope Esme reams him for yelling at Edward for having the audacity to want to take his wife on vacation after the stresses of nearly being kidnapped and raped, and having to put him behind bars.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Until Alec turned the tables on her, I don't think Tanya appreciated the gravity of what she'd done. She still was justifying it to herself and believed that she could make them see it her way.
Bella will always carry that knowledge with her. There is no escape from that, but now she knows that she comes first. Edward's shown her that and will continue to do so.
Carlisle has the same problem as Renee at times. He speaks first and thinks second. Change isn't easy. LOL!

5 years because he only got her as far as the parking lot??? Our justice system sucks. LOL!! I was so shocked that Tanya actually thought that Edward would want anything to do with her. Go out to eat and talk???? *shakes head* The celebratory meal after the verdict was a nice gesture from Carmen and Eleazar. It was very considerate of them to exclude Tanya. Hopefully that sent a clear message to her. She got a taste of her own medicine when she found out that Alec was using her. Karma is a bitch. :) Great chapter. Hope we get to read about some hot steamy island sex.
