I dont know. This is such a difficult story line. I mean i would be so freaking pissed if I was Bella, and hurt and depressed and completely emotional. I mean your husband cant find pleasure in you so he has to find an outlet! And Tanya too! :(
But then there is the age difference and arranged marriage thing. I completely understand how Edward would feel, I mean how are you supposed to explain to someone you dont know how you feel about their age and sex ... it's just complicated.
Now that isnt saying that I agree with what Edward did at all. I do not agree. I dont think I would be able to forgive him ...
And after that admission by Bella ... I wonder what his reaction to that will be?!?!? I think I wouldve run out of the house and just kept running if I was Bella.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! It really is a difficult position for both of them. I know how I would have felt had my husband told me I was too young for him and then have to be reminded of that in each interaction. It doesn't excuse his behavior, just adds another wrinkle.
I may do an EPOV outtake of this scene if I can get it right and I will post it separately if I do. Also, watch the forum for a teaser this weekend!

Edward is a heinous douchebag. And even when he is trying to make things right, he still acts like a righteous ass. If I was Bella, I would have divorced Edward so fast that he wouldn't know what hit him. Then I would have outed him to everyone as a liar and a cheater. Tanya is awful, but she isn't the one who is married. It was Edward's responsability to keep it in his pants, and he couldn't even manage to do that without mucking it up.

Very interesting story! I am hooked forsure. Very different from 'Vegas'... wish there were a couple dozen more chapters ;) because my 3 year old is home sick today, and he is watching Nick.. and this seems much more entertaining!
Questions.... How old is Edward?? Who are the cullens?? Edward, Emmett and Jasper??? Edward, Rose and Jasper??? It sounded like Alice worked for the Cullens at one point, but she is married into the family?

Author's Response: Yes, this is a VERY different story from Vegas! And I can't blame you for not wanting to watch Nick!
You will find out more on the Cullen dynamic in later chapters. Edward is the oldest at 25, his twin siblings, Jasper and Rose are 23, Emmett is 23, Alice is 21 and Bella is 18. (This will be explained in later chapters but Alice's mom worked for the Cullens, not Alice).

This is really painfull to say, but first all I'm a bit pissed off at Bella cause she considers a football game more important than talking to Edward about the state of their marriage! As for communacation they both suck at it!!! They don't communacate at all!! Edward should have taken the inititive of talking to Bella first instead of just leting her just ask questions considering that Bella seems to be the type to just fly off the handle reather than dealing. and Bella hasn't spoken to anyone in the family either about what went on as to how she felt Edward was treating her before the shit hit the fan! I'd like to back slap both of them behind their heads for there immaturaty and stupidty. I think the angst factor is getting a bit too melodramatic and contrived in this story.
Author's Response: They do have communication issues and that is the root of their problems. Please understand that the story starts in the middle of the drama and the rest of the story is it working its way out. Infidelity is something that is very hard to deal with, especially when one feels unwanted anyway.

What do I think? Edward screwed up, and Bella should take some time to live on her own for awhile - no Edward or Cullens or Mom and dad. Poor girl was married at 16 - she hasn't had any time to experience the single life. That way, she could get out there, maybe meet people and make a mistake or two herself. She'd have a better frame of reference and be able to meet Edward on a more even playing field. Just my thought...
Author's Response: Do you think this Bella is well-equipped to live on her own? I think she has no idea who she is or what life is about because she's never bothered to find out. She prefers to sock herself in her own little world and has been content to drift along. She has growing up to do before she can stand on her own two feet.

I totally understand how Bella is feeling. I don't see how Edward can justify his actions. Still love him though! Great chapter, can't wait to see how he tries to explain. ;)

I absolutely, positively love this story. I think you do amazing work and I hope you update often (just like every, other reader out there does lol).
I especially like the character development, specifically with Bella. She kinda grew from this shrinking violet, into a woman with a backbone.

I like the story - even though I am pissed
I wish Bella would have some self respect and leave the SOB.She needs to take him for EVERYTHING. A marriage is based on trust. You can't trust someone who cheats. I have a very happy marriage and my husband would never betray me. If he did (which I know would never happen), the relationship would be over.
I am mad at Alice and Rose for not standing up more for Bella. Everyone is ignoring the elephant in the room. Esme should be horrified at what her son did. I like how Em made his little comment, but I still feel they should make Edward feel like the piece of crap he is. They should kick Edward out.
I wanted to puke when Edward texted her that she is the only one he wants....obviously he forgot about his wang ending up inside Tanya.
Marriage shouldn't be hard. It doesn't have to be. Yes, with everything there are ups and downs, but it doesn't have to be constant work. As I tell my husband all the time, I am so happy to have him. I look at the losers out there and count my blessings.
Bella needs to go find happiness with someone who deserves her.
Author's Response: You are very blessed to be in such a wonderful marriage. Even the best of them, though, go through tough times. Part of what helps us grow is learning how to deal with those. That is what Bella is doing here.
Cheating is a deal breaker for many people and I guess it depends on the person and the situation whether forgiveness is possible. I hope to see what we can make of it here.

I think it was cruel of you to leave the story like that... I want more!! LOL. But I rarely start reading fics with so few chapters completed. However, the title/summary interest me and I decided to give the 1st chap to skim to see if I was going to add to fav's. Very diff storyline. I like. Needless to say, I couldn't stop at chap 1 and I am so upset with you right now that there is not more to read.... I don't know what I am going to do-- guess I will just have to wait for you to post... soon... please... pretty please real soon~
