Bella is pathetic. She runs back to the house, Edward cheated on her multiple times, he yells at her, and she wants him to "love" her. She needs to grow a spine, put on her big girl panties and find a real man. She would never be able to trust Edward. What the hell is this with Esme thinking things were better. Let me guess, she turns a blind eye to things like this. My husbands aunt had been married for something like 35 years. She found out he had a mistress for the last ten. She left the loser and never looked back. Esme reminds me of a woman (who my husbands aunt didn't know) who came up to my husbands aunt at her son's wedding and said she couldn't believe she was "throwing away" a marriage due to a "mistake". Everyone has their own opinion but I say SELF RESPECT! You can't love yourself is you don't have it and you will never be really happy without it. Trust is #1 in a relationship.
Bella needs to leave NOW...run and take Edward for everything.
I can't believe Edward is going to go on a buisness trip with the Spencers???
Run Bella...run and find a real man.
Bella find a BACKBONE.
How about Bella meeting someone else (not Jake), like James. James can be a billionaire and she can end up with him and rub Edwards face in it.

Yes - he is a stupid man. Yes he deserves to be lashed. He should crawl on his knees for the rest of his life and treat Bella like a princess. One indiscretion I could cope with, but not a year of it, with a flimsy excuse. Celibacy is not hard, if he was so keen to wait.
I will keep reading, to see how he makes things work between them. But he's not my favourite version of Edward!!! lol
