I did remember Jake was the gardener,actually. :) What I meant to communicate was that I wanted a nice guy to love Bella like Jake did in the books- the way Edward isn't capable of. I'm still all for the E/ B HEA, but I'm also all for revenge/ taste of your own medicine type stuff in this case. I hope that makes sense.
Author's Response: It does make sense. I just don't think that two wrongs ever make a right and it wouldn't get them to their HEA to have her stray too. Hopefully, Edward will redeem himself to you eventually!

Edward is cheating on her and betraying her and lying to her and Bella is the one who is fighting for him??!!??!!??!!?? *shakes her head* …..I’m absolutely speechless……
And then: “We can’t keep avoiding things. YOU have to talk to me.” – You make it sound like all the problems they have are her fault.
He was 23 when they were got married and he had an issue with her age and instead of talking to her about it he behaved like a coward and now he does absolutely nothing to fix their marriage besides letting Bella do the entire work.
Really there is no effort on his part besides him getting pissed of on her when she reminds him of what he had done!
He is way too cocky. He is not sorry at all for fucking Tanya while being married to Bella. He cheated but most of the time behaves like nothing happened.
I’m not saying she should not forgive him but he should do something to earn her forgiveness, to earn a second chance. He should try and beg and not just cockily smirk at her and think he’s the greatest.
The weak excuse he gave her for avoiding her all the time is no reason at all. When I’m reading your story I’m not having the feeling that Edward is not sorry at all for what he had done.

Again, Bella was great with Tanya. It's hard to believe that she is only 18. I don't blame Bella for jumping to conclusions regarding Edward and him being with Tanya. I was releaved that Edward was able to explain what happened.
While I think that they are doing really well, I do think that they need to make more progression with each other and their relationship.
I'm looking forward to more.

This is a great start.... can't wait to read more... wasn't going to review but I had to answer your question because I have this student... and her voice drives me up a freaking wall...whiny, loud and just plain annoying... i see most of my kids once or twice a week.... somehow I got blessed with her four days a week... Ok why did they have to stop? they are MARRIED?
The reasoing for them not to resffirm their desire for one another is getting ver thin.
I know alot of authors take joy in all the cock blocking but alot of the time it goes to far, so I say to you plz dont let the cock blocking go too far
Author's Response: They have a long way to go as far as trust issues go, and going there in reaction to Tanya wouldn't make for a good first time for Bella. Especially before she knows all the details. I'll try not to drag it out forever! LOL

even if its really hard to wait for them to find them to find each other its really kind of sweet that he is waiting for her to ready her self this will be a really big step for both of them it will give him time to make her first time perfect for her something to wipe away the bad memory of his being unfaithful to her give them some solid bricks to build a life on.....I hope she is willing to try with him if not Tanya wins and they both lose....
