I'm glad Edward will survive. I'm hoping Jacob was not the one to kill Carlisle, and I hope he calms down and survives.
Author's Response: Nah, it was Jake's great-grandfather's pack that killed Carlisle. But Esme really doesn't see the distinction right now.

i love this story! i love this bella and i love this edward!!! i also love the little bits of humor interwined with the love story and the angst of losing carlisle and esme's pain and the difficult relationship with jake. i loved the johny 5 comment and i bet emmett used the voice and the accent as well.

Wow, that was a great chapter. Poor Edward and his detached extremity! God, I hope Esme doesn't end up being offed. Like the new pic for your story. By the way, got snow in our little area of AZ, which almost never happens. Of course we videotaped it and acted like we'd never seen snow before. lol

How funny that your end notes discussed smells. Smells are a very strong memory for most people and usually associated with emotional context. I was actually imagining the smell of this shop as I was reading it. While I collect and love old books, I abhor the smell that used clothing and book shops carry in general. I feel that it coats me and pervades every hair shaft and article of clothing I happen to be wearing. The internet antique bookshops have been a Godsend for me!
I am looking forward to reading this story of yours!
Author's Response: LoL - I realized after reading your review that the smell of old books reminds me of my father, who was an intense scifi fanatic with a huge number of paperbacks in his living room. So, I have better associations for the smell than you do...sorry. :(

oh I hope you have retribution in mind for Jacob Black. I despise him so terribly. and he was all fixated on getting edward, not on getting the truly evil vampires. i hope he rots. grin. and why is edward in trouble with bella? Is she completely ungrateful?

Glad Edward is going to make a full recovery, and its a good job Bella can't do him any injury (well except for emotional) cause she doesn't seem very happy at the moment. Great drama, nice to see Victoria the first to go for a change. I'm a little concerned for Esme, hope she's ok. I totally agree with you on the whole Bella not being a virgin too. Great new banner by the way. Happy New year. T x
