Jake was irritating as usual, and I really wonder how Bella will respond to the mate conversation. Looking forward to reading more.

Really remiss of me not to review your story earlier despite loving every chapter. I especially love the bookstore-setting since I too have a tendency to lose all sense of time and space once I step into one. My friends and family usually groan when I find that there's a bookstore closeby :)

Anyhew I love the story and I really wish I had more time to give you a more detailed review, but my school works' piling up, so...

And thank you for remembering us and posting chapters despite your treatments. I just heard that my uncle's chemo has been stopped since doctors can't see how it would still help him and it only makes him worse. Hope your prognosis will be better than his. Hugs.

Sorry to hear about your uncle.  I hope he has a great time with his family before he takes off for greener pastures.  I've lived with melanoma for three and a half years and I'm still kicking, so the prognosis ain't too bad.

Funny that Charlie thinks Edward is a pansy. If he only knew the real secret! I got the feeling that Edward deliberately took Bella to La Push, to get in Jacob's face, and deliver a message  or two. I think Jake got the message, loud and clear. You're ramping up the tension pretty well. Good story!

LoL.  I thought you guys would get a kick out of that.  I wouldn't say he deliberately took her to La Push, he just took advantage of the situation as it presented itself.

I've read the first two books in the Fallen series. The third is next one my list. Have you read the Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater? It's an awesome series :)

I've read several of them, but not all.  I know I've read Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Ender's Shadow, and maybe more.  Speaker for the Dead is my favorite.

When I saw your story update in my inbox I had to wait to read it bc this is one of my favorites and I needed to give it my full attention. Possibly being one of the best stories I have ever read not to say one of my favorites.  I know that it has been a while and remembered every word.  I love it so much I re-read it last night.  I didn't know you were ill.  I am in awe of how you can write so well after all you have been through. I have been a nurse for some time, a very long time actually.  I have seen some things that, well I really wish I hadn't and other things that are miraculous. I have learned many things and met many people.  I can say that my religious beliefs are not what they used to be, but I have at request prayed with families and patients.  What I truly find to be truth is the amazing human spirit, I with all my heart and soul believe that alone is the basis for miracles.  Those who have been written off so to speak come back to see me after each summer tanned and smiling, christmas cards still come and now your story.  It still comes.  You can write this wonderful despite all you have been thru.  You are a truly amazing person, you have given so much of yourself.  My heart and thoughts are with you always.  Thank you!
