still just utterly enraptured with your story,no snarkiness necessary... I can actually see, feel and smell the old bookstore from your description!

This is wonderful story, full of mystery and intrigue so far and very well written. I love the idea of a reclusive Edward running an obscure little bookstore. Fits the character we all know and love, but at the same time is a nice change of pace. It's very easy to picture him there, lurking around, the eccentric beautiful enigmatic man/vampire always on the fringes looking in, coming to life in your story.

This chapter deepens the mystery so I'm eager to find out what happened in Forks that has a vampire so traumatized he's bumping into things. (Great line btw, totally made me laugh). 

Thanks for sharing it. I have to prod you a little here in the hope for longer chapters in the future. These are more like teasers than anything you can really sink your teeth into. Not that it will stop me from nibbling whatever you deliver, lol. ;)

Edward is quite the mystery here. I am very intrigued with what you've got setup here. I love his store and can only wish I had the money to own such a store. I think it would be wonderful to be able to own a bookstore, make your own hours, spend all day reading, and not worry about things like making money from it. I'd never leave the store either. Although I would never be able to use his system of publication date. And I'd never have any nonfiction books.

Rumi is awesome.  He's what is known as one of the ecstatics - his poetry is very passionate.  He writes about God, religion, human nature, love, friendship, and nature.

Oh a cliffy!  Btw, I love "I Am A Rock" by Simon and Garfunkel, I have the 45, so I downloaded the MP3 after I started to read this chapter and put it on my Walkman..so see?  You didn't need a book reference.. (We don't do 'Apple' here..:)) 

I'm starting to get the feeling that perhaps Edward is utterly alone in the world now. And that maybe the wolves are involved.

Wow, wow, wow, this story is so good. I love your writing; it's really exceptional. Oh, and you have me on pens and needles wondering what happened to Carlisle and other Cullens. Are they still alive. I so hope they weren't attacked and killed by the wolves? Maybe, they are still alive and were taken by the Volturi or something like that?
