Oh, and re: Oregon coast -- have your visited Cannon Beach? It's my favorite place in OR. Would live there year round if there were any jobs (other than summer)!
Author's Response: LoL - Loved Cannon Beach. Went to Mo's for lunch and had the best shrimp alfredo EVER. We didn't stay long because I wanted to get to Astoria, but it was a cool town.
