I'm guessing this was why the Cullens separated.

First of all, you finally made sense with the first wife story. The brave woman spilled her own blood but did not kill herself with the knife. It was the vampire who killed her. (The original version never convinced me. She neede to bleed, not to die - And Bella will mirror the action).
Now I understand that in this version there is no treaty between the Cullens and the tribe. Curioser and curioser. I hope your updates are as frequent as this one.

Oh author honey are you trying to give me a heartattack? I mean what's going on with Edward and now Bella has put two and two together...I think my adrenaline and anxiety levels have just spiked to dangerous levels...looks at her author pleadingly. Please don't leave us hanging to long. I do love a good cliffie though ;) I can't help but wonder who was lost, I am assuming it was the Cullen's that were attacked and feel kind of anxious and dreadful thinking of who may have been lost. I like the way you changed the legend from canon. This seems to go along with Edward saying something painful happened in Forks about seventy years ago.
So Bella has put it together.
I am usually understanding as far as giving the author all the time they need to update but in this case I will make an exception. Please update soon?
Author's Response: LoL - I will try.
For the record, I'm not actually changing the bulk of the Quileute's legend, I just shortened it so as to reflect the way stories evolve over time and lose some of their authenticity. And to let the reader know that something different happened when the Cullens showed up on Quileute land. And to make it shorter, because it was really freaking long in Eclipse.
