God, I love this story so much.  Edward is so sexy and Bella seems less emo. Can't wait for the next one. 

I really enjoyed reading this chapter.

"It's too much, isn't it?"  The Cullens realize on some level that this is too much too soon for Bella but it's like they can't help themselves.  The poor girl is still not sure she's won't be lunch. 

Ah, I see she sidestepped the promise to stay.

You'd think that she's taking all this vampire stuff really well but I don't think she's accepted anything yet.  It's almost like she hasn't absorbed it.  I keep waiting for her to say, "Ok then, this was fun.  See you later." and run away screaming.

The Cullens never do things half-way, do they?

When Edward is listing all of the things that could happen to her, it sounds a lot like his hunting trip with Emmett in Midnight Sun; where he's thinking a bear could wander into Forks and kill her. 

A couple of notes on your AN:

I was always under the impression that Alice was changed within a few years after Edward; between 1919 and 1921 and that they were the same age physically.  But I thought she and Jasper found eachother in the 30s or 40s.  I don't know why I think that but when I read Eclipse, that's what my brain came up with.  Maybe it was they joined the Cullens in the 40s.  (You know I actually sat down with a pencil and paper trying to figure out Jasper's age and physical age.  Not my proudest moment.)

I, too, get bored with the fics that have shopping as Alice's raison d'etre.  She was such a strong, pivotal character especially in NM and BD.  (Well, in BD her absence was what made her such an important character.)  I also get bored with the Rose is a cold bitch and Emmett is a loveable, horny dumbass fics.

I'm pretty sure Alice and Jazz hooked up in the 40s or 50s.  And I've spent a lot of time during this fic figuring out how long Edward's been alive, how long he was with the Cullens, how long he's been alone, etcetera.  Don't feel bad.

I love this story!  I love your Bella (which is more grown up then normal) and I love sensual!Edward. 

I'm rereading CW&IA myself.  Freaking awesome story!  But, I am loving your story completely as well.  Can't wait to read more!!!!  I will check out Empires of the Mind because I am loving your way of thinking right now.  Plus I love a bad Edward.  So hot!

Kristen's real hair (when washed and not cut for that Joan Jett movie) is pretty awesome, too!  She is definitely girl crush worthy, Rob is a lucky man.  Beautiful couple.

LOVED the poetry.  It reminded me of one of the few redeemable moments in that shitfest of a movie, New Moon, where Edward quotes Shakespere.  UNF!  So damn hot.  Your Edward reminded me of that hot ass moment that got me through the most of the est of that crappy flick (until Volterra!).  Hopefully, the poetry won't stop?

I absolutely love this story–the way you write the characters, the twists, the plot. I never imagined what would happen if Carlisle got killed by the werewolves, so it's all really new to me.

Are the werewolves really as uncontrollable as Edward is telling Bella, or is he biaised by his experience with Carlisle?

Also, you noted last chapter how you had an obsession with Bella's hair, and I just wanted to tell you that it works. The way you write their attraction and touches is just as passionate and potent as in Twilight, something I don't find very often (perhaps even more).

I can't wait to see what happens next!
