Here's where I'm at with the age thing - going by canon.  We all know Bella's bday is Sept 13th.  Then in New Moon, Jake gives her candy hearts for Valentine's day, saying she just missed his bday...so Jake turned 16 sometime in late Jan/early Feb...so he has to be 15, when she turns 18.  Charlie also makes a comment about Jake not having a license/permit at some point in Twilight...also assuming he's under 16 there. Does this make sense? Maybe I totally misread that part...in which case I could heat it up with them sooner! Let me know what you think after all my rambling!

Great chapter - so like Quil to offer such innappropiate advice!  Wish more stories showed him with a real girlfriend - would love to see him whipped.  Hoping you don't have too much Edward angst interrupting this sweet couple.

Okay, so why would anybody not want Jake and the guys to go to the homecoming dance unless you want Bella and Edward to end up together, in which case, why would you be reading this story? Of COURSE I want Jake to go to the dance. Really couldn't care less if the other guys make an apperance, but a little Jake/Edward confrontation (or a big one) would be very entertaining. ;)

Fun introduction to the Forks High School scenario. I think the dance situation will be very interesting. Can't wait!

I'm an Edward fan, sure. But it's always nice to see a different take on things. I’m open for a change. And I liked Jacob because sometimes, Jacob offered a lot more than what Edward did.

I like the different perspective for characters, such as Edward being the single guy and not having much of a fighting chance because Jacob's already got in there. And I like how Jacob was normal. He won’t want to eat her…Okay maybe he will, but he won’t want to suck her blood. He won’t have the restraints that Edward has. He’s a normal guy. And he’s protective at the same time.

And it’ll be interesting to see how it all comes out: Bella finding out the Cullens are vampires; finding out about Jacob who’s a werewolf (that could be in the story possibly I’m guessing) – seeing who’s side she takes over anything (because already she’s in a relationship with Jacob and hasn’t got onto friendly terms with Edward); and seeing how she deals with a stalking Edward who could be in love with her, or fighting the chance to drink her blood.

And if Edward is left in love with her, which won’t be the main focus of the story – ‘cause it’s a Bella/Jacob story really which is awesome! A nice difference…But if he is…How is Bella going to feel or what’s she going to think, if she figures out that she’s like the only one for him? He’s found her and won’t fall for another again. I’m not going to beg for a relationship for them, ‘cause I’m pretty much liking all these changes. I think you should write your own book, for Jacob/Bella fans. =D

All these unanswered questions. But it’s all rather interesting.

And last of all, you’re doing brilliant with the story. :D

Anyways, I hope you are liking how the story is progressing so far!

Jacob and the entire wolf pack should wind up at the dance.  That would be spectacular. 

Other experiences... They should go to the football game (in which Forks should lose) prior to the dance (I was in marching band and suffered through many terrrible losses).    Bella should participate in senior skip day.  And since this is AU, Jake should do something special for Bella's birthday at school, since she will not be getting a paper cut at the Cullen's house. 

 

I'm loving this.  I'm such a Jacob fan!
