Edward's excuse that Carlisle and Esme are crazy from drinking animals was way funny, LOL! I especially liked Jane's reaction to finding out Jasper and Alice split when Dava ans Skxwang were adopted!

Haha what other dirty little secrets does Edward have? I'm glad that the family got past the Volturi, i wouldn't want any harm to come to the little vampire babies. Great Chapter!
Author's Response: None that I am currently aware of, LOL! But as soon as Emmett spills on another one of Edward's secrets, I'll be sure to include it in a chapter. But more importantly, the baby vampires are safe from the Volturi. Thanks for reviewing!

Author's Response: Oh Jessica was a saint compared to Miranda! And yes, Edward was a lot of work before Bella- he spent a hundred years being a moody teenager- the others were estatic to marry him off :)

Author's Response: Thanks! I was actually worried that it might be a little out of character that he did not refuse Esme. But I figured he refused the first few times before just going along with it- we all do stuff we don't want to do for our mothers

A lovely long chapter with lots of info to take in. There are soon going to be an awful lot of baby vampires running/crawling around. I imagine that will become quite hard to hide from the volturi.

Author's Response: I haven't figured out what Corin's power is yet...All I know is that it is an offensive talent and Bella is not immune to it. Any suggestions? Maybe something cool will come to me when writting the fight scenes!

The humans' stories are so said in this one! And I thought the TB and AIDs babies had sad stories...You really made me glad that the Cullens saved them!

Merry Chrismakkah! (As being of both Jewish and Christian parentage) GREAT chapter! Its great to finally meet the babies, but it seemed alittle anti-climactic. like one chapter they were talking about Z & Z and then the next chapter there they where. LOL Oh well. It would be interesting to hear the babies thoughts on the whole "birthing" process.
Author's Response: I know: Edward wanted to edit out the birth scene because of all the blood and gore and dying humans. This story is only rated PG 13 after all... But, when we get to the sequel, Masen will give us all the gory details of the birthing process. He will even give us some incite into the baby's thoughts :)
Basically it starts when the baby gets really thirsty, bites the umbilical cord, and drinks the host dry. Once the cord is severed, the hatching reflex sets in, and the baby instinctively chews his or her way out of the egg and then the abdomen. Then the parent picks up the baby and washes him or her off.

Author's Response: Yes, Allison can be annoying. She especially enjoys annoying Emmett: that will be one of her hobbies. And she will continue to use her skill for annoyance to reek havoc on the Cullens... But once you see how bad the other little monsters are, Allison won't stand out as particularly bad. I tried to give each little monster different personality traits, and Allison got annoying (Jackson is the daredevil, Eliza is the violent one, and Scryan is the pervert, etc) :)

Lucky for vampires that they can reproduce by bitting, if it only depended on the eggs and growing a year every hundred I dont think many parents would go for it...it just seems like too much to take care of someone over a millenium...

Author's Response: No, I'm still asking for that dinning room table I asked for when I was four. I only ever asked for the one thing, so Santa would have to make it for me :)
Yes, a millenium of child care would be beyond me too. Any reproductive cycle that took that long to complete would likely die out without a mode of parthenogenesis, so biting humans is very important.
