This story grew on me like you wouldn't believe. I start reading it, and I'm thinking, 'eh.' I get halfway to chapter 19 (newest chapter as of this comment), and I'm thinking, "Ooh." And I finish, and I'm thinking "Woah!"

Bah, evil Cliffhanger. ONe of the questions I've been looking forward to seeing the reaction of for awhile. Torture, lol.
On a side note, um, did I miss something? Bella is what, 17, 18 atm? What is with the cycle just starting?
Author's Response: We'll be discussing this over in the forums, but long story short, the abuse kept Bella's body from being 'normal' and starting around age 14.
As for her reaction, well, Edward isn't happy with me, let's just leave it at that....

[And I loved the beginning when Carlisle was signing all of the forms. Dead cute how each of the Cullens had a certain way of turning in their forms... and that Emmett and Bella were scarily similar.]
Author's Response: Yes, he could have handled it better. Right now Edward is letting me into his head, so it might take a bit before we get back to Bella. Carlisle surprised me with the forms, and I laughed myself silly with that mental image, glad you enjoyed it. :)

ok, so question. Bella is 16 right. Why is she just now starting her period? is this her first one? is the reason why she didnt have her period when she should have started it because of how malnurished and stressed she was from living with james? Why now and not when she was 13-14 when its supposed to start?
Author's Response: Exactly. At 17 Bella is a bit late, but that is due largely to the abuse she suffered. I'll be going into more detail in the forums in a few days, if you'd like a better explanation. Kudos for figuring out the reason. :)

oh my god what a great update, im glad that edward is protective over Bella. i would like to see more then that. I thought this chapter was funny with the period thing too. that was quiet amusing. i hope edward comes back soon. I hope the next chapter doesnt take so long :) more when ur ready x
Author's Response: We're slowly moving towards ExB, I promise. Her period is actually going to be a huge jumping point, odd as that is. The next chapter is flowing quite well, so I should be back on my normal update schedule. Thanks for reviewing!

I love the natural progression of ExB's relationship. And kudos to you for addressing what others don't: menstral blood and it's effect on the Cullens. Still loving this story.

But really, I get so excited when I see this updated because it's entirely TOO GOOD. And I love it, passionately.
Poor, Poor Bella. I'm surprised that she didn't run away as soon as Rosalie had "the talk" with her.
She is supposed to be 17 in this, right? Is there a reason why she started so late? Was it the fear/abuse/violence that caused her body to not make her menstrate? That's actually good. James would have had too much fun with something like that.
Poor, poor Bella.
And they're all surrounding her, that can't be good. I assume that she'll equate "the change" with violence and perhaps withdraw for a while.
Wow. Didn't really expect this chapter to be like this, but it's a good way to go.

Author's Response: I do, but I never grow tired of hearing it. ^_~ Exactly, the abuse/malnurishment caused a delay in her period. And yes, he probably would have been even nastier.

Coach Clap may be my new favorite character. "I think there may be something wrong with her." Such epic win, hehe. And I love that Mr. Banner is jumping on the E/B train.
Poor Jazz. He broke my heart a little in this chapter. It was great to see him get so intense, though, when he showed Bella his scars and talked about sloshing after feeding. I was feeling the fierceness, there.
But Emmett is going to get his ass kicked, isn't he? And I sense a major Bella freakout coming on...
Can't wait to see where Edward's gone off to! Great chapter.

Author's Response: Most do get it earlier, but 17 isn't too late. The reason here though is the trauma and abuse she suffered made her body hold off until she was better nourished. Glad you're enjoying. :)

I must say, I really like the way this story is progressing. Leave it to Emmett to spill the beans!
There is so much interaction with Bella and the rest of the family in oyur universe. I like that alot. You have defined her relationships with each one of the coven so well. It keeps me wanting more. I am truly looking forward to the next installment. What will Bella do with this news? Will Edward come back? And what will he say to Bella? When will Edward and Bella see that their relationship is growing into much more than syblings?
By the way, I was very happy to see that even the HUMANS are catching onto the romantic ties that are growing between Bella and Edward. Really great chapter. - LCS -

Great chapter. Poor Bella. It's hard enough getting your period, without your vampire brothers (or future boyfriends) attacking you.

Wow...Where did the need to change come from? great storyline...please don't wait so long to post! Also i want to see edward and bellas relationship mature...quicker...lol.
Author's Response: The vampires knew she would have to be changed way back in chapter one. This is just the first that Bella's hearing of it. And 'soon' for vampires is way different than 'soon' for humans. I swear we're getting closer to ExB, pinky swear, just please be patient just a bit more. Thanks for reading and reviewing!
