Ha! That was an interesting twist. Edward doesn't seem interested in Bella at all; he' only using her to get clean blood (at least, that's what we know right now). I do find it strange that Charlie accepts immediately: he doesn't know anything of Edward and doesn't have any guarantee that she will be treated well or even left alive. The poor man is too trusting…

Wow, this is an interesting premise and setting. I really wonder what Edward has come from. He probably isn't going to try and save Renée, and I wonder what he wants from Bella.
