Charlie continues to surprise and amaze!! Usually the shoe is on the other foot and its dad walking in on Bella and Edward....guess he has to keep his lip buttoned for the time being anyway LOL As for Edward's date plans, is there anything this guy can't do?? I would say Bella got her moneys worth and then some. Am very intrigued to know who was trying to bid on Edward though.....its concerning that he is reluctant to reveal this tidbit to Bella just yet. Thanks so much for posting this so quickly right after the auction chapter, this makes for a nice little present....who says Santa doesn't come early....love you and your story, you are doing a great job with it. Author's Response: Charlie finally got a dose of his own medicine. Maybe Bella should use some reverse psychology on him.
Edward is pretty much amazing...except for the fact that he's trying to protect Bella from some unknown fact that we will learn in the near future.

Hi! I could so rely to this chapter; my granddad's exactly the same... And I'm not the Bella-of-this-story size, I'm only a little... chunky... And I'm so insecure. It's so horrible to feel this way, and when I read this story I can really relate to what Bella goes through... (well, except for the motherf*cker who won a bet on her...) And it's... comforting to know that I'm not the only person who feels this way. It makes me kind of hopeful that we can all have happy endings :)
I really like your story. The only minus: the chapters are too short for my tasting! :D
No seriously; it's great. Keep on writing! Can't wait to see how it ends!

Ps. I really like how you solved the inevitable Edward vs. Jacob problem, it was a great idea to make them friends!! It gives the reader that much less to think about! It's funny how you can always tell with a fan fiction if the writer's team E or team J on how the conflict ends :)
Author's Response: I think I have aspects of something that every person has experienced in this story. It doesn't matter what age, what weight or what social status you come from, every person has had insecurities. It's just a matter of overcoming and pushing forward!
The chapters do get longer!
I was also tired of the Edward/Jacob feuding and the E/B/J love triangles!

I thought Edward and Bella's time in the meadow was romantic. I want to know who it was that was trying to out bid Bella for Edward. I hope that girl isn't going to cause problems for them. I also want to see Tanya get intro trouble and have Charlie catch her, maybe have him take her down to the station. I loved this part.
"Where is your shirt dad?" Bella asked pointedly.
"Well I'm certainly not going to say it had a spider on it." He answers snidely, emitting a blush from both Bella and I.
That had to be embarrassing for all of them, nobody wants to think of their parents/kids doing the deed, much less see it. I can't want to read what's going to happen next. Hopefully that will be soon.

I don’t have a problem with Edward preferring bigger women. Some like blonds some like brunettes. Redheads, or whatever. I think it’s kind of natural. And it would be crazy if we all got turned on by exactly the same thing.

What a terrible grandfather!
I actually have a similar experience. But that was the mother of a guy I liked who told me that kind of stuff. With him in the same room! Took some time to recover from that one.
