Rose is sort of fantastic in the sense that she's a bit too much of everything. I like her.

Rose has no idea. I love that Alice is dealing with all of the horribleness while keeping her head. I mean, it's pretty bad, for now. I hope...

it's taken me three days to read this great story.  i'll be honest and admit i was a bit frightened by the fact these kids were high school students.. um, that aside - i'm so glad you wrote this story. it was reminiscent of 'cruel intentions' & 'heathers' w/ a smattering of something else. great job!

Ok - so I've read non canon pairings before so I knew the problem wasn't that...but in the beginning, like 10 chapters in, I just wasn't into this story. It had nothing to do with the writing or the plot/premise, I just didn't really like anyone and sort of hoped everyone got screwed in the end. 

I'm not really sure at what chapter it happens but I think it's when Edward is searching Rose's room and you get a glimpse that he cares a little more than he's been letting on...and suddenly the "canon mantle" just gets shrugged off and they become completely separate from canon and I started rooting for them and didn't care if they ended up in the "right" pair or not.   

I admit I had to get some encouragement to keep reading but you've got some serious fans out there who told me it was worth and I'm so happy they were right!  While I can't say I'm a total convert to non canon pairings, I think you might have loosened up a little knot in my stomach over it.  I have to say Rosalie and Carlisle's scenes were sooo steamy! 

It was such a tough set up to get over, how do you convert Alice from a pawn to a queen?  How can she sacrifice her morals and yet still be a heroine?  How do you garner sympathy for Rosalie without turning her into a whiny woe is me rich girl?  How do you overcome the cliche of money and power and spolied kids without using the same cliches we've all read before?  You seriously overcame every single one of those obstacles.  The turning points for each character were so subtle but masterfully done. 

This review is way too long. I loved it. Great story.           

OK, best fic I have read on this site, hands down. And I have read a LOT!! This one stays with you, when all the others blur together. Three cheers for more!!

I don't know what made Alice finally want Edward but whatever it was THANK GOD...that was hot. I have a feeling it won't last but I can enjoy this memory lol
