This was really sad! I was going to read this when it was updated, but then I forgot.. but now I remembered.
I feel so sorry for Esme, I can't even begin to understand what it must feel like to lose a child, especially when she is on her own.
The memory of when she met Carlisle was so sweet. It made me smile when she got her words mixed up! Aww.
Save me, Carlisle, from this terrible madness, Esme thought desperately before throwing herself over the edge of a cliff she had just stumbled across.
That is so fitting with what happened! Carlisle did save her from the madness!
Author's Response: You sound like me. I think "Oh, I have to do this!" and then all of the sudden you're doing something else and three weeks later you're all, "Oh, I have to do this!" Lol.
I know what you mean. That's why I used my dog, lol, 'cause I'm pretty sure I haven't lost a child. xD
I seriously love Carlisle/Esme, but I, of course, love Jasper/Alice more.
Oh, and to be a bit off topic, I bet it wasn't hard not (oh, double negatives) for you to avoid saying 'Jalice' in this review. :P
