I meant to comment re: this when I reviewed on FF.. At the beginning of this post, while Bella was charting, Edward came in and washed his hands.. gasp!!! a Dr. out on the floor, washing his hands?? wow... does not happen near enough!!  I also loved the line,' I like to be in control of my spontaneity.'.. that was epic.... So glad I found this story!  I love it!  I read your other story and loved it too so I'm glad to see this one!  Love the back and forth between Edward and Bella.  I love how you write and cannot wait for another update!  They need a kiss soon!  Its funny cuz as I'm reading I feel those butterflies that Bella must be feeling!  Your writing is great!!!!

Great chapter.. love the interaction between these two, I think they definitely have some chemistry going on.  Loved the strip monopoly game and them each individually checking each other out, though Mike is just plain creepy! Thought it was really sweet of Edward to put Bella to bed and give her a goodnight kiss.  Hoping Bella will take him up on his offer to take her out with their winnings.

So pleased I found this fic and looking forward to the next update. T x

i was so giddy when i saw the update in my inbox, i am such a huge fan of your writing. I really like how the work comradery (sp?) is coming into play and how even though Edward is a doctor he isnt a snob he's friends with nurses. i am on the edge of my seat wondering how this all will evolve

Bella arriving at the party after her horrid day at the hospital.  Bella secretly wondering where Edward is and why he hasn't shown up yet.  She makes herself a drink.  Mike arrives with his co worker Bree.  He latches himself to Bella.  Making her a strong drink.  Trying to get her drunk.  He convinces her to go outside on the patio.  Mike asks her if she has a boyfriend.  She tells him she has broken up with boyfriend and currently not looking for one.  While they are talking Edward joins them on the patio.  Mike goes into to refresh his drink, Edward joins Bella on the loveseat.  Love the bantering between them throughout the entire evening.  Mike is upset that Edward was sitting next to Bella.  Alice the ever matchmaker draws Mike away.  Edward remakes her drink to avoid her being drunk.  Eventually everyone returns inside for a team play monopoly.  Edward and Bella win.  But one of the deals was both Bella and Edward had to pay Emmett their shirts for his property.  Embarrassing for Bella.  I can't blame her for that.  It was sweet of Edward to tuck Bella into bed with Alice.  For a minute there I thought he was going to kiss her goodnight on her forehead or something.  The man is very interested in her.  The comment about getting together and spending their winnings.  Bella said she doesn't date doctors.  He said it isn't a date, but in reality that is what he is considering it.  He likes Bella.  Being friends gives him the opportunity to get to know Bella better.  He teases her about hot doctors, anything to get a rise out of her.  It's funny. Looking forward to future chapters of good/funny bantering between Bella and Edward.  Also Emmett and Bella too.  He teases her so well.  Can't wait for Edward and Bella to get back at Emmett with Rose.  Funnier if they are all there to watch from the back the fireworks.
