Tanya seems to be good medicine for Charlie. Hope ia what he desperately needs now, and it feels like that is what she is providing for him. Dare we forsee a little loving to go along with it? I'm looking forward to the next chapters.

Who would have thought Tanya would be the nurturing sort? This is a whole new side of her, and I quite like it. Maybe this is just what Charlie needs, I certainly hope so. This getting good, carry on!

Poor Charlie, I feel so bad for him. That had to be just devastating, for a guy who was so used to serving and protecting, to have no defense against his new instincts. Sure hope this gets better for him.

Apart from feeling sad for Charlie being on his own, I can totally understand his wanting to deal with all these new things by himself. That's just Charlie, pure and simple. You can see where Bella got a lot of her personality. Lord knows, she's not too much like her mom. She will worry about her dad until she sees him again and knows he's okay.

Sometimes, I could cheerfully choke Leah. She is just a royal pain in the ass! Trust her to rain on Charlie's parade. Who died and made her God? Why does she get to decide what everbody does with their life? Poor Charlie, like this isn't hard enough for him already, good old Leah comes along and pours gasoline on the fire, so to speak. Wish that girl would find some big, handsome wolf, get laid, and lighten up a little.

Of all the different characters from Twilight, I never thought of Charlie being a vampire, but what a great idea! This , no doubt, will open up a lot of possibilities, that should be fascinating. I can hardly wait to see what you have in mind for him and all the Cullens. Neat story!

This is a wonderful chapter. I love how Charlie corrected himself for cursing in frount of Tanya, that's rather sweet. I love the story that she was telling Charlie. I am as always eagerly awaiting the next installment to this wonderful story.

This is brilliant. I absolutely love Tanya in this, one of those characters that's usually an antagonist in fanfic and rarely explored as a complicated woman that has a story to tell. I'm really looking forward to seeing more Charlie/Tanya moments as I think they would suit each other well.
Author's Response: Yes, I think Tanya has been dealt a tough hand in fanfic, but she's supposed to be this 1000 year old vampire, strong and independent and sexually uninhibited. She could be so totally awesome.

Charlie/Tanya, eh? Not sure I've seen that before. I think I read a fic that paired Charlie/Kate before, but it was sort of a background thing and I don't even remember what it was now. I'll be interested to see how this goes.

Interesting chapter...it's refreshing to read a story with several of the smaller characters from Twilight used. So now I wonder if something is meant to develop between Charlie and Tanya?
"He'd joked that she'd slept with more humans than she'd eaten." Hilarious line...it had me laughing while I read the whole chapter.
