Hooray for no cliffy chapters! lol. I felt horrible for the characters through most of this chapter though. It's rare that Alice can't find the right words, but it's apparent that she didn't in this chapter. I'm definitely thinking that Bella is going to end up doing something stupid cause she feels like such a burden still to the Cullens. Hmmm, maybe Jasper should come find Alice so he could help by knowing Bella's emotions. I did love that Alice got to slap Bella out of the hysterics though. I always loved the part in the book when Alice suggested Edward slap her, lol. Nice chapter! Can't wait for more of the action!
Author's Response: I felt horrible for the characters too. Alice is really probably underthinking the way Bella feels and perhaps overthinking it as well too much to see what is right in front her. Even after Jacob told her Bella felt like a burden, Alice still can't quite seem to grasp why Bella feels that way.
Very nice train of thought "I'm definitely thinking that Bella is going to end up doing something stupid cause she feels like such a burden still to the Cullens." :)
I also loved that part in New Moon and I was so happy to be able to weave it in!

Uh, I hate that Bella still considers herself a burden. I wish that she believed Alice's words. Even Jacob can see it.

Author's Response: I hate that she sees herself that way too. She's just too insecure and it will be her downfall. We will see Edward next chapter, we almost saw him this chapter but I decied against a cliffy:)

I liked this chapter, liked how Alice is chipping away at Jacobs cold demeanor towards her. Loved how Alice pointed out that Bella could have more than one friend and I'm glad Jacob can see that Alice loves her.
Now, I hope Alice gets a chance to clear up the air so Bella knows she isn't just there out of obligation? And who is Theresa? How nasty is she going to be? I dread to think.

K I take back my griping at you about not updating soon enough... for some reason I didn't get an update for this chapter, so when the next one came i had two to read!!! Woop woop.
WOW.. pure dead brilliant!! The Victoria hunting scene was extremely violent, extremely sadistic but extremely perfect! And your descrptions were fantastic! loved it!

I almost wish Alice would tell Bella the truth about Edward coming down to see her and then running away. At least then she would know how he feels. You've done a great job of switching their roles though; Bella definitely finds a way to blame herself for everything and believe the Cullens are better off without her. I did think that Alice mentioning that Victoria is hunting Bella would remind her of the flash of orange she saw the night of the party. I'm anxious to see what happens next!

So where is Edward and is Rosalie close to finding him yet? Can't wait to find that out. And that Victoria.....definitely, completely evil! Your Victoria is probably the scariest, most blood-thirsty version I've read so far, so good job on that. Love that Bella has given up trying to lie to Alice and I'm glad Alice had a vision of her and Jacob becoming friends cause him being suspicious and not liking Alice is just wrong, hehe. How can you not like Alice? :) As always, I'm excited for more of this and can't wait for some Edward in it!

Great story so far! I'm anxious to see how everything turns out, but am definitely glad Alice is with Bella. Hopefully Edward stops being Edward; just for a little bit--we wouldn't want him to really change :o) and realizes the truth.
