Does Bella have an eating disorder? It would be an interesting developement to the story, I think. It would also show Edward that his leaving could possibly effect Bella even if she decides to forgive him completely.
Also, I liked when she said "detoxing" instead of "getting clean" -I really hate when people refer to "get clean" to describe quitting drugs. Not only is the person detxing feeling ill, but to have people telling them they are in some way dirty would just be appauling.

aawww, I liked this Bella and Edward angst free chapter. The record store, the dress...all very sweet. exept for Edward's f'ing nagging..when will he learn?
I'm sure Bella's friends would do anything for her if she needed it, but they are typical females...bitches when someone has something that they don't. Whenever I was a bitch like that, it was always because I would look at someone who had a great guy and wonder why I didn't, what was wrong with me? I'm sure they want Bella happy, but there's a part of them that would gloat if it didn't work out. Typical young females. I wish Bella had the nerve to tell them she was going to put the drinking and drugging behind her for Edward, but I guess she's not there yet. These girls are the only family she's had for a long time and I'm sure she doesn't want to alienate them, not quite trusting Edward and all.

That was a really cute chapter. Strong coffee followed by music and boutique shopping is one of my favourite (urban) ways so relax on a quiet saturday out. Bella is slowly softening towards Edward, beginning to trust and relax.

“"No reason, the girls just…" she paused "…were giving me a hard time about you. They never give me a hard time about anything."
"Oh," I responded. I knew they didn't like her sobering up. Also, they were afraid to lose her because as much of a mess as my Bella might seem to be, from their thoughts, I gathered that she is still taking care of everyone around her. They see her as a shrewd manager who got paid at clubs that stiffed everyone else. Bella also wrote all their music and arranged most of their covers. Basically, without her, they would be lost. I knew if I told this to Bella, she would probably turn on me, thinking her girls would never be that selfish. I decided to let her work it out with her friends on her own; I knew better now than to meddle and overstep.
"They’re not used to seeing you with someone and are overprotective." It was true, but the rest she would have to find out on her own.
“Yeah—maybe,” she mused. Bella seemed to be contemplating something, but I didn’t want to interfere.”

Liking it more and more.
I've read a few stories where I have been disappointed after 15 or so chapters because while the story started out well, the plot just fell flat.
This story has been quite the opposite, while at first I felt the story wasn't for me (I just couldn’t identify with Bella) I kept reading and was surprised to find myself waiting for the next update.
Anyway, in short you're awesome.
